Dec 08,2023Called and described the three issues that I would like looking at on the phone. Engineer came and quoted £890+VAT to change toilet flush button, bleed radiator and plumb in dishwasher. Far more than expected on toilet and dishwasher so refused the quote. Was told that the engineer could not bleed the radiator as part of the initial call out fee as this was not classed as a 'tightening or adjusting' repair. If this is not classed as a basic repair then I am confused as to what would be. They could not answer. I was sent an invoice for the call out fee immediately and this was followed up with a call to say that engineer could not leave my premises until this was paid. All very threatening and I was not informed of this policy prior to scheduling the call out as otherwise I would not have booked a call out. I do not want to have to pay an extortionate fee for a random man to leave my premises again in the future.

Dec 08,2023I called them in error, my fault. They diagnosed a broken condensate pipe £395 to replace. So I complained that it was just blocked, so suddenly it was just £245, so I sent them away and wasted money on a cancelled callout fee. Glowarm came round, confirmed condensate pipe was OK, unblocked pipe for no charge. Serviced boiler for £95. So always question what is being asked of you to pay for. These visits can be an opportunity for job 'uplift'

Dec 07,2023Called them when we had sewage flooding into our kitchen and Thames water were nowhere to be seen. Wayne arrived in just over an hour and cleared the blockage within 15 minutes. He was so helpful and considerate of the traumatic day we had been having! Made sure he didn’t get any mess in the house and also checked our pipes under our sink for us to give us peace of mind. Dec 07,2023Interestingly, I thought I had contacted another provider online, but this company appointment request popped up instead on the website. Since the other provider was recommended by my neighbor, I didn't notice any logo so I went in and put my information. My experience with TM247 is that they do not know how to carry out the annual service of a boiler and heat water tank. They are a company to solve plumbing emergencies. They changed the quote in due course insisted on getting the payment before starting the job and left without a report of the job behind. This company operates with a professional facade, but I won't recommend it for an annual service.

Dec 06,2023This company rescued me from a dire plumbing problem!!!! The very competent plumbing engineer, Kasseion, arrived promptly, immediately knew the problem. Stopped the noisy pipes and running water!!!! Fixed some beautiful new taps in my butler’s sink, in the utility room. He was polite, and reassured me all would be in working order. And it is. I would recommend this company 100% to everyone and I will use them again
