This was a very smooth operation. The crew in Auckland were expecting our delivery and immediately started wrapping goods. The app for tracking the shipment was useful. Delivery at the UK end was efficient and we were updated constantly on delivery procedures.
From start to finish the whole process has been a breeze. The team have been great at explaining the process and no question that I had was a stupid one. Thanks so much.

The UK part seemed fine, but it all went wrong at the destination. My PSS contract had some wording about how they ensure the best service at the destination, but it's just fluff an they do not stick to that! My property is being held hostage whilst ridiculous fees are demanded and PSS "helped" by telling me to just pay them. Note PSS have replied to this review with an outright lie about my distance - this is what you have to deal with for this company! On a survey map my actual real distance is 30.3 miles from Boston, but if you drop a pin on city hall in the center of Boston and calculate the distance travelled along the winding roads of their preferred roue (NB not the shortest route!) then you can make it so that my address seems to be further away. Neither them using winding roads distance nor being able to drop the pin wherever they like as the starting point were in my contract. Be very wary if you're moving to a city larger than 30 miles across then! In particular, they have calculated the distance I live from Boston using google maps route distance calculator - in the screen shot they sent me there were even 2 difference routes with 2 different distances! So I guess my advice, if you want to go ahead with PSS, is to pray for no diversions or road closures on the day your stuff arrives as it affects the distance they claim and they will demand significant fees - in my case this is double figures % of my total cost for this service, for just 500 yards of extra distance! In theory only is it 50 yards, as the company are driving it from New York, just to really rub it in that this is a nice technicality they found a loophole in. Their subcontractor operate on US law, despite me signing a UK contract. And US law applies a much more "gotcha" approach to any technicalities allowing to extort extra cash from you if they feel they have any power to do so. I wish I'd paid the slightly higher quotes I got elsewhere as this would have been cheaper!
I’ve had the worst experience with this company, our quote went up by 50% due to there incompetence, they made huge mistakes and we are having to pay for it, they are holding our goods to ransom because they made mistakes, I would never use or trust them again, shame I can’t give zero stars. Thanks for the expected response, to confirm we did not edit any delivery address it has always been 3 to 3.5 hours from Toronto, your employee decided on the original address for ‘order purposes’ and stated that it would make no difference, so more lies. To date we are not aware of any outstanding balance on our account for you to hold the balance of our goods to further ransom. Perhaps your customer service colleague should read the latest email correspondence and address accordingly rather than continue to state that it is, as always with PSS, the customer fault.

Collection of boxes for shipping went well, two friendly people and arrived on time.
I chose PSS for my move from England to Amsterdam, and it’s been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. The entire process felt like I was dealing with a team that had no idea what they were doing. I specifically requested coverage for my computer, only to find out—at the last minute—that they either ignored or forgot my request. I had to fill out an additional form right before shipping, which should have been handled properly from the start. To make matters worse, DHL later informed me that one of the customs documents, which PSS had advised me to complete, was incorrect. This resulted in further delays to my shipment. On top of all this, the initial quote was nowhere near what I ended up paying. I was charged nearly £1,000 for just five boxes. The lack of helpfulness and poor communication from their employees made the situation even more stressful. If I could give them 0 stars, I absolutely would. Avoid at all costs.

I wish I had seen more honest reviews before trusting PSS International Removals with our family's move from London to Brisbane in January 2024. What followed was nothing short of heartbreaking - we lost nearly everything we owned due to water damage and black mould. When the container arrived in March 2024, we were absolutely devastated. Cherished belongings, furniture, and personal items that we had carefully packed up in London were now covered in black mould. The worst part? PSS knew about this damage weeks before delivery but never bothered to tell us. Instead, we were blindsided when the movers showed up at our door in Brisbane and basically forced us to accept the damaged items or pay daily storage fees. Trying to get help from PSS was like talking to a brick wall. Countless emails and phone calls went nowhere. They just passed us off to their insurance people, who offered us such a low amount compared to what we lost. We even had professional cleaners come to assess the mould damage, but PSS and their insurers wouldn't cover the cleaning costs. Being in Australia, with the time difference to the UK, made everything ten times harder - we'd wait all day for responses that never came. Eventually, we were so emotionally drained from fighting that we accepted their low offer just to try and move on with our lives. The whole experience was incredibly stressful and upsetting - these weren't just "items" to us, they were our family's belongings, memories, and comforts from home that we'd brought to start our new life in Australia. Now in 2025, we're heading back to the UK and I felt compelled to share our story. If you're planning an international move, please look elsewhere. PSS might pack your stuff nicely in the beginning, but when things go wrong (and they did, terribly), you're on your own. The lack of care, communication, or basic decency when dealing with our situation was shocking. Save yourself the heartache we went through.
