Jul 27,2024Switching from a Drawdown arrangement to an annuity, particularly an annuity with no guarantees was, for me, a difficult decision. After appropriate research I elected to use the services of Retirement Line, a company based in Peterborough. Initial contact is so, so important. To say that I was impressed with Joshua Lawson is an understatement. Joshua was extremely thorough, rang when he said he would ring, sent literature when he said he would send literature - a rare occurrence these days,somebody doing what they say they will do. By the way the Retirement Line literature is first class. He was not pushy simply offered the various alternatives. Once I had received the various quotations I elected to purchase an enhanced annuity with JUST and submitted the appropriate documentation. My case was then handled by a colleague of Joshua's, a lady by the name of Sabrina Wallington. Again Sabrina was excellent dealing with all the transactions between my Drawdown provider and JUST and keeping me fully informed. Every question I had was answered without delay, no praise is high enough for her. Joshua, Sabrina, you are a credit to your company. If you are considering annuity purchase use Retirement Line, you won't regret your decision.

No pressure - I spent a number of months thinking about my options before I committed. Denise and Andrew were really helpful. Any queries I had were answered immediately. In spite of being advised that the process could take 8-10 weeks, everything was actioned and the money in my bank in three weeks. He talked me through the whole process, never at all pushy and once I had made my decision, acted swiftly to get the ball rolling.He then Introduced me to Mollie my case handler who again kept me informed with updates when agreed and I felt I could ask anything I was unsure about. It is great the application can be automated on line but retirement line still always send manual documents as well. Nothing is too much trouble. A great experience.

Jul 23,2024It's one thing completing a task for yourself but quite another when you're accountable to someone else. I was assisting a deaf individual whose first language was British Sign Language (BSL) and who had asked me to "sort out" his impending pension maturity. From the initial contact with Paul Guy and his colleagues, Giulio Montaque and Amanda Grkinic of Retirement Line the whole matter was dealt with sensitively and efficiently throughout the whole process. I was kept fully informed as to what was happening on every step of the way -which I was able to pass on to the deaf individual through BSL. There was no "hard sell" and it meant that decisions could be made quite objectively by the customer in the knowledge that his pension 'pot' was absolutely safe. Congratulations to all concerned for a job well done.

He explained the various options available to me and the benefits of each one. There was no pressure and he was available for any questions I had before making my final decision. One I made my decision Amira @ the administration department took over and took care of all the paperwork. It was very straightforward with the whole process taking only 3 weeks till my Annuity was finalised. Would definitely recommend Retirement Line.

My first contact was with Josie Thomas and she was really efficient in giving me all the details and explained everything to me and the benefits of each option. Terry Finch then sorted all the administrative side of the process and he kept in touch and advised when I would be expecting a reply from my pension. Both Terry and Josie were brilliant and for me expecting a horrendous time with deciding what way to go with my personal pension they made things so easy. If you are unsure what to do with your pension and need advice and help then retirement line are definitely the people you need to speak to.

I did find my consultant very knowledgeable, courteous and open minded evaluating my options and trying to find what suits me the best. Jul 29,2024I came across Retirement Line online by accident when I was researching the best annuity rates in order to take my pension - and I am so glad that I found them. From the very start Josie Thomas, a Senior Annuity Specialist, was extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable, which is exactly what you need when you are trying to negotiate the complicated world of annuities. In addition Josie managed to obtain a considerably higher guaranteed enhanced annuity rate than I was previously able to achieve from several other organisations / brokers. Having decided to proceed and purchase my annuity via Retirement Line the communication with the provider was then taken over by Roland Ewins in Customer Relations who was also very knowledgeable and efficient and kept me informed the whole time, especially during some short-term complications that arose. At all times I had direct telephone line access to both of the personnel dealing with my annuity. All in all I cannot recommend Retirement Line highly enough as an ethical company and their professional staff in particular.
