Jun 29,2024From my first enquiry, dealing with Retirement line was a pleasure. Matthew Summers and Andrew Rist were open, honest, and explained everything in language that was easy to understand. Any questions or queries were answered. I honestly cannot thank Matthew and Andrew enough, for everything that they did for me. I was dreading setting up my annuity, I thought it would be arduous, it wasn't, it was seemless. My annuity is now set up, with my first payment due in July. If you are reading this, and need help, and support to set up your annuity, ring Retirement Line,they take the hassle away, they do everything for you, and you get regular progress updates.

Jun 28,2024I decided to use a broker to help me setup an annuity for my retirement and found Retirement Line online so submitted a preliminary request. I was contacted by Tony Jarman who described all the myriad options and took further details. I soon had a range of quotes and decided to go with the company providing the best rate (it apparently varies quite frequently). The application was then handled by Sabrina who sent me the appropriate forms to complete and handled the submitting to the annuity provider. All went well, until a mix-up transferring funds from my pension savings company to the annuity company resulted in a long delay. Sabrina was tenacious in chasing up the transfer which eventually happened and the annuity setup was completed. A big thank you to both Tony and Sabrina for your professionalism and friendliness in helping me setup a good annuity for my retirement.

Jun 27,2024I looked at a couple of Annuity providers before eventually choosing Retirement Line. I first contacted RL in mid April and from day one their Annuity Specialist (Samantha Pitchford - very professional) was extremely helpful providing loads of information on all the options available to me; once the Annuity provider was chosen their Customer Relations Consultant (Mandy Grkinic) kept me up to date on the process and was very patience (!) in answering all my questions. The whole process took about 6/7 weeks from reviewing options (April) to receiving my first payment (June); I really cannot praise or thank RL (Samantha/Mandy) enough for their help and great service.

Paul Guy presented several quotes after I provided information regarding my health and future income needs. At no point did I feel pressured into making a decision. Jun 21,2024My experience with Retirement Line who arranged my annuity has been very good from start to end. The whole process was handled very professionally and smoothly and completed very quickly. My initial contact was Ewan Duncan who clearly explained everything and greatly assisted with the completion of the forms clearly explaining areas I did not understand. Once the forms had been completed these were then handled by Terry Finch who regularly kept me up to date with the progress. Both Terry Finch and Ewan Duncan were extremely polite and friendly and made the whole process very easy. After the paperwork, which was not difficult to complete, it was really just a matter of sitting back and waiting. I have no hesitation in recommending Retirement Line.

Jun 19,2024I was combining three pension pots into one annuity and used Retirement Line. Ed Starling was very helpful in going through the options and providing pricings for each. The real fun started when Mollie Turner swung into action, two pension funds were quick and easy but the third was hopeless - confused, inefficient and with a terrible helpline. For literally months they were promising me forms which never arrived while sending forms multiple times which I had already signed. There was never a clear person in charge so there were endless hours on the helpline. Mollie had the patience of a saint and helped me make an official complaint - upheld (twice). A last point: my wife set up her own annuity herself but the annuity provider insisted on paying a commission, in fact to her pension fund which had no involvement at all. So you may not be saving money by not going through a broker.

Jul 01,2024From my first telephone conversation with Andrew to my last correspondence with Jasmine I received a first class service from the team at Retirement Line. I initially rang them with trepidation as I was expecting the hard sell approach with constant chasing. I accept that I was wrong to assume as I can confirm I never felt under pressure and the whole process was explained in detail. The pension options available and the number of players in the market appear to be a minefield to the layman. You need a friend to guide you through the whole process and by chance I consider that I found one.
