Mar 02,2025I recently used road buddy and had a pretty good experience. The price was reasonable compared to other mobile fitters. The fitter Mohammed was quick to respond and arrived within the time window they promised. Mohammed was professional and friendly and explained everything to me step by step. The whole process was done efficiently. Also all the staff that I had spoken to were all very friendly.

Feb 27,2025I've used Road Buddy twice for flat tyres (my car doesn't have a spare). Both times they came out really fast, got the job done quick and were friendly and professional. Arguably more expensive than having a tyre fitted in a garage but for an emergency callout service the price is reasonable in my opinion. Would definitely use again if I needed to.

Feb 24,2025Hit a pothole on M1. Called road buddy and Aimy passed my details onto A406 mobile tyres. Great guy arrived within 20 minutes of call. Tyre fixed and on my way to the airport and currently sat on what would have been a missed flight. Amazing service guys. Thanks

Feb 14,2025The mechanic sent out to me damaged my van as he jacked it up in the wrong place, bending out the body work. Been trying to get a refund and something to be done about the damage caused. Just getting ignored. Called, emails, messaged many times over 2 weeks. No response, or just get the phone put down on me. Customer service non-existant. Quality of workmanship very poor. *EDIT IN REPOSE TO THIER REPLY BELOW* The reply to this review is the most response I have had from Road Buddy. From the photos, it is clear the fitter jacked up the van in the wrong place and has caused damage. This is obvious and undeniable. The jack point is where there is an arrow and reinforced chassis point, which is about 5 inches forward from where he did it. The fitter knew he made a mistake at the time as his attitude changed after he knew I realised he caused damage. Trying to say that it is "normal" to bend out the bodywork. I have taken advise from my regular mechanic back home to confrim my thinking. The fitter offered me to come back to London (I Live in Brighton) and he would "get his mate to have a look, who will hammer it back". This is not a satisfactory solution. It in not convenient for me, nor do i want his mate to have a go on smashing it up further. This is a body work issue. My "baseless" claims can be proved by dated photos and videos. I have been offered no resolution, not even a refund let alone a solution to the damage caused. Apart from this reply, had no contact from them after approximately 12 calls to them, each saying someone will get back to me. I was sent out this fitter by Road Buddy and road buddy have sent me an invoice for the full amount for the service. Therefore the quality and workmanship is legally assured by them. I have had to contact my insurance Motor legal department and will be contacting trading standards as no resolution has been made. In summary Road Buddy is a very poor customer service which over-charges you to connect you with a cowboy mechanic, who over-charges you for a poor job. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE IT'S NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE AND DAMAGE CASUED

Feb 12,2025I arranged with road buddy for a mechanic to come and have a look at my car. Someone eventually turned up in a car (he had more football related stuff than tools). He had a look at the car and said he needed to go and get something. I waited over an hour and he hadn’t come back. I spoke to the admin and they said he couldn’t help me. No apology or explanation. Completely useless and he was no mechanic. I suggest you avoid and try the big 2 companies.

Feb 08,2025Would give a minus rating if possible. Paid over £300 for a tire replacement and 1/3 of that price is for them to contact a huge groupchat of mechanics which they decide if they want to help you. You are better off contacting local garages or social media pages. No fault to the mechanic, he was lovely and great service. But in other words, SCAM & AVOID!!!!!

Feb 06,2025Would put minus 5 but not available, for call center team for recovery service. Extremely poor contack, call service. No clarity, no confirmation, they not able to get the location even with provided 3 word location indentification by police officers. Several call received with confirmation that recovery will be in 30min, where after 1 hour recovery driver call and tells that he will not do this job, then after 1 hour call back and tells he will be in 30min. Then I did need to direckt driver where to come. Just total caotick night mear. Only one very good and quick job call team did its colleckted deposit payment. There they was very clear and quick. In the end the recovery pearson was not able to provide the service, as he was not able to get my car on the recovery vehicle. Where other company did it in 5 min with absolutely same equipment. Now I am trying to get my deposit refund confirmation for uncompleted service and geting push away eatch time by the call center, as some one will call me back, and nobody do. The way call center team speak is realy poor. So yes when people are in alredy not pleasant situation as car got broken down, this expearince with this company was just something out of order totaly. Would not recomend at all.

Feb 04,2025Only 1 star because 0 is not an option! Really disappointed with the service & communication last night. Arranged for a new tyre to be fitted to daughter's car. Paid deposit at 6pm and told 40 minutes someone would be there. 70 minutes later no sign and I called to be informed there had been an issue with a van and would have to wait a further 40 minutes. Guess what, 60 minutes later I was then informed that it would be a further 90minutes taking it to nearly 4hrs my daughter was waiting, alone at a services.
