Aug 31,2024I called them last thursday, and they quoted me £400. I hung up the call, but then a guy contacted me on WhatsApp from a Pakistani number and offered to do it for £200 if I paid into his personal account. I accepted the offer, but when the driver arrived, he demanded an additional £50 and threatened that he wouldn't unload my car otherwise.

Aug 17,2024I was given an estimate of 30-45 minutes- Jerry came in 15 and had the problem sorted within 5 minutes and gave me advice without being belittling like a lot of mechanics can be when talking to women. Absolutely will be using these guys again if I ever get into trouble again!

Aug 04,2024I called three times,they said they’d be in touch soon, (website states that costumers would receive a quote in 30 min) they didn’t. Last time I called they suggested writing on WhatsApp which I did but never got a response.

Jul 24,2024This was honestly first class service! I was stranded with what I thought was a broken clutch. Jerry not only came out within 20 mins, he was so nice, calmed me down and tired to fix the problem. He didn't have the part needed but towed me to the garage and explained to the mechanic what had happened. I cannot thank Jerry enough. What a lovely man. Would definitely use him again!!

Googled 24hr road recovery and these guys came up first, spoke to them and he guided me through everything, really quick and efficient, Wasn’t cheap but hey, I was on the road driving again within the hour, plus they sent me a tracking link to view my drivers progress Jaffy was the guy who helped me, he might remember me so ask for him and say you read this, he’ll help you out

Jul 18,2024Hassan arrived on time, did a good job and I'm happy with the service, needed an emergency roadside new tyre from someone local. Road buddy had my tyre in stock and someone available within 90 minutes but arrived earlier than expected. Bit expensive but no complaints will use again in an emergency if required.

Jul 15,2024I called this company on Saturday 13th and someone promptly arrived. The chap was nice but couldn't jump start my car. I had doubts about the chap but decided to take his word for it and thought because the car was old maybe the battery needed changing. I walked away stressing as I would now have to have my car towed to a local garage as it needed a new battery. Today I called the recovery people to come and collect the car so they could take it to a garage. The removal company wanted to try and jump start the car before any removal took place. As soon as they connected the battery charger lo and behold the alarm started blaring and my car was back up and running. I contacted Road Buddy today to tell them about this and that I had paid them for nothing and asked for my money back. I told them another company had jump started my car today and that it made no sense that they could not get it started 2 days prior. Roadbuddy has since refused to give me my money back. I would advise people not to use RoadBuddy as you might pay £90 for a call out and even then they might fail to jump start your car. Just some advice Roadbuddy, maybe get a proper industrial car jump starter and not something you bought on Amazon.
