Nov 30,2023This Law Firm was recommended to us by family members who have used them for years. Myself and my Wife visited the Bury Office to make our Wills. I particularly wanted my Will made as I have an illness which unfortunately means at the age of 55 my life is coming to an early end. The process was simple and very straight forward. We were advised that we would receive our draft wills to peruse over before we book an appointment to have them signed and witnessed. We did receive the draft wills and all was well with the content. I then telephoned the same solicitor on her direct dial No and left a message to be booked in for the will signing. Unfortunately we didn't hear back, so I rang again and left another message. Still no returned call..... To our absolute amazement we then received a letter from her asking us to contact the office and make an appointment or our file will be closed. I then emailed her directly and did receive a response from her apologising that she had been out of office. We were then offered a vague appointment with various dates and times.... I replied accepting the appointment at an office, date and time to suit her availability. Yet again...no response. As the date had now passed I again emailed to book another appointment..again at an office, date and time to suit her availability. We were then offered an appointment on 28th November at either 10 or 11am at the Farnworth office. Great :) I again responded to accept the 28th Novemver and I would leave the time for her to confirm.... Today is 29th November and still no response from the solicitor. I can only assume my illness and need to have a will is not a high enough priority for this firm. Having now spoken to our extended family we have all agreed never to darken their door again and will use a different more responsive law firm..

They helped immediately, explaining what they could do and when, and resolved my issue quickly and without charge. I love the fact I could pick up the phone as be dealt with quickly and in a no fuss, friendly way. Professional service and highly recommended, particularly Caroline.

Nov 16,2023I have recently completed a large commercial remortgage with Aldermore. Russell and Russell were the appointed firm. After an initial period of duplication of communications due to staff holidays, R&R handled there side of this transaction very well. It was fairly complicated as it involved 5 leasehold properties but initially Ammarah and then Gulrez were nothing but professional and prompt is asking and dealing with matters. Gulrez especially went the extra mile in the last few weeks to get this deal completed as quickly as possible as he was well aware of its importance.

Thankfully Rhys and Ella who dealt with my case at Russell & Russell saved the day. From the start they were both courteous, highly efficient (with a can-do attitude) and any emails from my end were answered not just the same day but often within a few hours. They were extremely knowledgeable about a rather complicated leasehold house sale and put me at my ease about each stage of the process.
