Nov 06,2024We would highly recommend Safari consultants. It was our first time doing safari for our honeymoon and we were recommended them by a friend. We were dealing with Frances who was excellent! She’s so knowledgeable and provided us with lots of great options and suggestions. Even after we’d booked with them, they went above and beyond to provide us with up to date safety advice and tips before our trip. Communication with them was excellent. We had an unforgettable experience thanks to her and everything was seamless on our trip - their mobile app was really useful for all our docs and itinerary and our flights, airport transfers and everything was spot on. If we’re fortunate enough to go on safari again we’d definitely use Safari consultants, no question!

Nov 06,2024Overall, our experience with the Serian group was beyond our expectations. The camp staff, meals, accommodations, camp locations, guides, drivers and constant attention to detail were exceptional. It was an experience of a life time and all of these things and people made it possible. I especially loved the atmosphere of the camp and how the staff were very entuned to our needs, while consistently demonstrating an amazing attitude. They really made us feel like a family. Such lovely people! This all sincerely noted, there were times that I felt a little lost in the communication with Serian Safari Group before our trip due to the time change and all communications were via email. However, when I did have questions, my concerns were dealt with. I would definitely recommend this company for all your safari needs!

Nov 05,2024Although we have been on safari before this is the first time we have used a safari travel agent. Frances at Safari Consultants telephoned upon receipt of our inquiry and discussed our initial suggestion and pointed out that South Luangwa would be a better area for what we were looking for. She produced two alternatives that were exactly what we were looking for in terms of style of camp and it was difficult to choose between them! Having now come back after an amazing time we can say that the camps she suggested were both first class in terms of both game viewing and atmosphere. They were also very efficient and all the arrangements for transfers and local flights went very smoothly. Definitely 5 stars.

It was amazing and every detail of the journey was carefully planned for us so that we could just enjoy the fantastic scenery, wildlife and the exceedingly good camps and guides. We wouldn’t look anywhere else for a holiday in Africa.

Oct 16,2024Our first safari but from the outset it was like conferring with a friend…but one with such knowledge and skill in putting together the perfect package. Our route, building to the crescendo of Etosha but with so many opportunities to experience the variety of this amazing country and its people on the way, with thoughtfully pre booked restaurants and tours so that all we needed to do was enjoy and my how we did! Outstanding camps at Hoodia, Mowani and Onguma …pure luxury with kind and knowledgeable guides but also the contrast of our stay at Villa Margherita in Swarkopmund learning about the Skeleton coast, dunes, and fascinating night time desert walk was brilliant too. Impossible to select ‘best bits’ - even the ‘African massage’ on the miles of gravelled roads kept our joints loose and was missed when we finally hit the long straight tarred roads returning to Windhoek. Africa stole part of our hearts and so much of that is thanks to Michele and her team, whose outstanding organisational and communication skills (the Vamoos app is amazing) left us free to absorb every sight, sound and joy of this magnificent country and its wildlife. Oct 14,2024Our trip was just fabulous from start to finish, Cape Town, two safari camps in South Africa and one in Botswana. Guides, facilities and staff at the camp were top notch. At the same time, we had unique and varied experiences at each place. Wildlife viewing, including two sessions in a hide, were spectacular as were bush walks at each camp where we learned from knowledgeable guides about flora and fauna far beyond the "big 5", along with history, culture and more. Being on the ground gives a completely different - and wonderful - perspective than riding in the safari vehicle. Rob's planning, organization and guidance were all we could ask for.

Oct 13,2024Recently back from Kenya from a wonderful bespoke safari that exceeded our expectations in all respects. Frances designed an itinerary that fully met our wishes. We appreciated the friendly assistance on arrival in Kenya to negotiate immigration control and baggage collection, and transfer between airports on arrival and departure. Internal fights and transfers between camps ran smoothly. Accommodation at all three conservancy camps was of a high standard, with welcoming and attentive hospitality. Our knowledgeable game drive guides were skilled at getting us close to animal and bird viewings and we saw an amazing range of animal and bird life. Safari Consultants provided excellent advice, suggested itinerary, arrangements and support for our Kenyan adventure and we highly recommend them.

Nov 20,2024Michele Seamark and Safari Consultants were fantastic. They planned a wonderful two-week trip for us through Southern Africa (S. Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe). We left all of the details to Michele. The trip went off without a hitch. The destinations, transportation, lodging, activities were all wonderful. It is quite something to receive a memo from Michele telling you that in 6 months at some minor location in Zimbabwe you will meet a man named Clive who will ferry you to the next destination and then…Clive shows up. As nearly as I can tell, these people know everything there is to know about Southern Africa. We could not have been in better hands. Jeff Tilden
