Her genuine sense of caring and communication about each aspect of our adventure, both pre- and post-departure, sets Safari Consultants apart from any other travel organization we have used in many years of worldwide travel.

Dec 02,2022Pandemic delayed holiday! Rob made this not a problem - even when BA decided to change flights. Our needs were discussed and explained at every stage. The results were amazing, the Kicheche camps (Mara & Bush) were small and perfect (food was too good for my waistline). Finished off with 4 days at Kinondo Kwetu at the cost was superb to unwind. Food again finished my waistline off!. Have used Safari Consultants before and would do so again. Highly recommended for a personalised service from people who know.

Nov 15,2022Joe and the team at Safari Consultants were just incredible from start to finish! Joe helped us plan our dream honeymoon (South Africa and Mauritius) down to every last detail, and it made our lives so much easier having such an expert help us do this - from knowing exactly where would be best for us to go on safari in South Africa, to ensuring special honeymoon extras where he could, to sending us all of our printed documents in a gorgeous branded leather travel wallet - the attention to detail was just 11/10! Our experience in both destinations was unbelievable - a trip we will never forget, and we cannot thank Joe enough for everything. We will 100% use Safari Consultants again!

Nov 15,2022We enjoyed the first of 4 trips to South Africa with SC, we took one of our 4 adult children, with his wife and their 3 young children. It was all wonderful and the arrangements worked like clockwork. After the amazing safari trip to Madikwe Reserve where we saw every animal apart from a leopard, the children then had the privilege of spending a day in a Zulu school in the Kwazulunatal region - so 3 small,very blond English children doing maths and PE with all the little black children was awesome. We now look forward to our 2nd trip in December 22 with another son, his wife and their 4 young children, again organised by Safari Consultants. We are certain it will be another amazing trip. Nov 10,2022Great places to stay, lovely food, people and experiences - a fantastic trip with memories that will last a lifetime - fantastic arrangements made by Safari Consultants who arranged everything which went like clockwork, and they chose some great places to stay and experiences for us to sample - not very often you can say everything was first class but this truly was !!!

Nov 09,2022We booked With Safari Consultants without any research. They were brilliant, the locations selected were amazing and the trip went very well. The Lamala Kuria Hills was amazing and it was great to get up close and personal with all the animals. And we had a lovely relaxing time at the Baraza Hotel in Zanzibar. Everything worked like clockwork, with drivers, flights and pick ups. We will be going again.

Nov 07,2022Safari Consultants are experts in putting together bespoke trips to Africa, taking great care to understand what you want to see and do and what your budget is. Long experience of dealing with lodges/camps and transport arrangements means that you can be sure the trip will work out as expected. I have booked with them 9 times now and would not consider using anyone else.

Nov 02,2022My husband and I had Safari Consultants plan our 25th anniversary trip and what a superb trip it was! The effort and uncertainty of planning a visit in a far away, new country were taken care of very well for us. All staff were very helpful and friendly, seeming to know what needed to be done so we could forget the worries and just relax and enjoy the beautiful country of South Africa. All of the places we stayed were quite stylishly decorated, but each had its own very distinct character. Having the rental car arranged, brought to us and picked up really lessened arrival and departure stress and weariness. The app abd package put together for us really were beat little tools. We were so thrilled that we can’t wait to use Safari Consultants again!

Oct 29,2022We dealt with Joe who was brilliant from start to finish in organising our honeymoon to Kenya and Zanzibar. There's a lot of organisation and paperwork required for travelling to Africa but it was all made very simple for us. We stayed at Ol Seki in Kenya and Baraza in Zanzibar. We couldn't have chosen better places to stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend these accommodations and safari consultants. We certainly have the safari bug now and will be back in the future!

Oct 28,2022First time clients with Safari Consultants booked 2019 (actual travel due to Covid, delayed to Sept 2022). Joe was our main contact. He made some excellent recommendations for our trip in particular the Pangolin Lodge at Chobe due to it's specialism in photography. All the lodges were excellent and staff very friendly. The mix of areas where we stayed in was good, our particular favourite was Kadizora. Joe had a good local knowledge of the Victoria Falls area and was able to make recommendations on places to dine and excursions, all of which were excellent. Joe was very patient with our never ending list of questions! We had an amazing trip and we have other holidays planned to Africa in the future, so will certainly travel with them again.

Oct 25,2022Safari Consultants understand client needs and with their commitment to staff educational visits to camps are able to deliver the most accurate itineraries. That was the case with us in Zambia where we stayed at two camps in South Luangwa and two on the Lower Zambezi. Everything was spot including the travel plans, ground handling; accommodation; hospitality and hosting; guiding; and most importantly the wildlife viewing experience. We have trusted Safari Consultants with our African holidays for around 20 years and they have always delivered!

Oct 20,2022Lori and I were looking for a quiet trip where we could spend time together. We wanted to avoid crowds and commotion. The smaller tent camps and private drives were clearly the best option for us. We did not drive or fly too much between locations yet we felt like we saw a great deal. The traveling was never stressful. Our itinerary provided plenty of habitat and scenic variability. We moved between properties at just the right pace. We were always ready to move on but never felt like we were leaving much behind. Our guides were excellent. Their knowledge was very impressive and their passion for the wildlife was infectious. They all had a great sense of humor. All three were informative and interesting while never talking too much. The service at each camp was wonderful and all of the people were interesting and very friendly. We hope to see some of them in the future.

Oct 19,2022As Africa / safari newbies, I can’t rate Safari Consultants high enough. We had originally booked for 2020 and postponement/ rearrangements were handled expertly. We had such a brilliant trip and didn’t have to think about anything - hotels, internal flights, transfers etc were all 5* experiences. Their knowledge is next level , special thanks to Frances for all of her hard work and guidance.

Oct 19,2022Our long-awaited (booked in 2019) safari with Safari Consultants took place in late Sep and early Oct 22 to Kenya. From start to finish - including throughout the 3 year hiatus - Rob and his team were fantastic. Informative, flexible, communicative, helpful; indeed pretty much every positive you can think of! The resorts and camps in-country were amazing and we had an utterly memorable holiday. If you are even thinking about a safari, don't waste your time with anybody else. Go direct to Safari Consultants! No Brainer!

Jan 04,2023We traveled several times "with" Safari Consultants Ltd. The camps and lodges are selected so that the location, the game, the services provided are outstanding. Safari Consultants listened to our wishes and made excellent choices so that we had nothing to bother about during our travel in Kenia. At every stop we have been taken care off by a local support organized by Safari Consultants, ensuring safe and swiftly transits all the time. During our time in Kenia with stayed in Amboseli, Laikipia and Mara. We had excellent camps with dedicated staff taking care of us and guides with in-depth knowledge about the area and the game. We saw leopards,cheetahs, lions, hyenas, buffalo, rhinos, elephants, giraffes.... and many colorful birds on our game drives. We will come back to Kenia and Safari Consultants.
