Jan 17,2020I found Safari Consultants extremely helpful from our initial planning and throughout. They were very sympathetic to what we were looking for and gave us very helpful advice to deliver an amazing holiday. We used them for our honeymoon, then went back to them for a fantastic holiday with our teenage children and I would certainly use them again.

Jan 17,2020We have known Rob and the team for over 15 years and have travelled pre-kids and with the kids as infants to teenagers with Safari Consultants. Have always had top service. Their advice is always insightful, and suggestions always spot on. And have recommended them to friends in Germany and the US who also have rebooked with SC. Its always nice to talk to them about ideas too, even if we don't intend to necessarily book a trip.

Jan 17,2020The team at Safari Consultants are simply excellent. We have arranged two holidays with the team. They always listen to what we want, what kind of budget we have and the kind of experience we are after. The team always come back with excellent ideas. What makes it even better is that they have first hand knowledge of the places, they aren't looking at a brochure - there's personal experience, that counts for a lot! Joe has been great in arranging our third holiday, we are still planning and he is always there to answer any questions or provide more options. I would always recommend the team!

Jan 17,2020Safari Consultants arranged the most fantastic holiday as a birthday surprise for my husband. I could not have asked for more; the holiday exceeded our expectations at every turn. Nothing was too much trouble for Fran who carefully listened to what we were after and then produced an outstanding itinerary. Certainly the holiday of a lifetime but we want another one! Hopefully we will be back again soon. Thank you all again, you certainly know your business inside out.

Jan 16,2020Having previously used Safari Consultants (in 2008 to go to Zambia) we had no hesitation in using them again. Our Safari holiday (this time to Kenya) and beach combo was very well planned. Joe listened to what we wanted and was very patient with all the initial planning/decision making re our itinerary! Safari was absolutely first class, really wonderful. Our accommodation, food, camp facilities and of course animal sightings were great. Each day is different on safari and you never know what animals you are going to see. This all adds to the excitement! Our guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. Our transfers were all very smooth which always makes your holiday less stressful. If I am fortunate enough to go on safari again in the future I would not hesitate to use Safari Consultants.

Safari Consultants always take a very personal interest in what we want from our holidays and on every occasion they have arranged an itinerary to suit us in exactly the kind of places we prefer to go to. They have knowledge and experience of all the camps and hotels they recommend. We couldn't have been more delighted with our holidays and will use them again. We recommend them very highly.

The holiday was amazing, one of our best - the accommodation, catering and safari activities were all wonderful. We saw everything we wanted to see (including the Big Five!) and so much more - the guides were very experienced. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Safari Consultants and would definitely book again with them in future!

Jan 13,2020The organisation of our holiday was excellent , it was planned to accommodate our requests to try and see various rare animals . The test of a company of course is how it reacts in an emergency . I can tell you that Safari Consultants excelled them selves. I had an accident whilst on safari and from the moment they were told,new arrangements were made , flights and hotels changed a driver at our disposal . Constant communication , help available anytime, which continued on our return with various insurance requirements.With all the help we received we managed to see most of the rare animals . All in all a superb company

Jan 11,2020Going on safari was a big investment for us. Joe Corder, our Safari Consultant, ensured it was the holiday of a lifetime. What we really love about Safari Consultants is the fact that they have visited every place that they recommend so they can really match your holiday to your needs. We gave Joe a list of things we wanted to do and our budget and he did the rest. He gave us a number of options to choose from, worked with us to get the whole package right and every detail was skilfully and thoughtfully handled by him and the rest of the team. Everyone we dealt with was professional and helpful, it is clear that they all love what they do which makes it a joy to book with them. If you are considering a holiday anywhere in Africa, I can not recommend this company highly enough. We simply can't wait to book again.

His expert knowledge of the area resulted in a wonderful trip to Kenya and Zanzibar - it was different from but undoubtedly better than what we had initially planned ourselves. All the arrangements - travel, pick-ups, accommodation, safaris - worked perfectly smoothly. Highly recommended!

We are so very happy with the service they provide, nothing is too much trouble and they will point you in the right direction if you are unsure. What is also great is that they have personal knowledge of the camps and destinations as they regularly visit them over the years. They provide a friendly professional service and we would not hesitate to recommend them if you are looking for a great safari experience.

Jan 10,2020I was recommended Safari Consultants from a friend who had travelled with them to Kenya and had a fabulous experience. Joe provided excellent advice on where to go - this was our first Safari, a once in a lifetime trip (supposedly!) to mark my 50th, travelling alone with my 14yr old boys. We decided to go to Kenya, and stayed in two areas - In Lewa and in North Mara, for some contrast. The accommodation was amazing, the internal flights operated like clockwork and were in themselves a thrilling experience but it was the guides that really made the holiday - so informative, engaging and fun. We learnt so much, and all our game drives were private. I haven’t even mentioned the animals yet - I could never have imagined what it would be like. There were animals everywhere you looked! Simply, this was the most thrilling experience of my life, it was like being in the middle of a David Attenborough documentary. Pretty much life changing. So I am already saving up for my next trip with Safari Consultants. I feel I can totally rely on their advice, the arrangements were seamless and communication excellent. The only question is - where next?

Jan 10,2020Great camps and some new (to us) experiences, including a wonderful mobile walking safari on the Laikipia Plateau, time with an in camp resident professional photographer and the best cheetah sightings we've had by some margin. All arranged by a super consultant (Mary) who takes brilliant care of all your needs, was always on hand for questions and knows what we like (this was our 4th trip with Safari Consultants ... the 5th and 6th are already booked for 2020 and 2021!)

Jan 10,2020Safari Consultants had been recommended to us by a friend who had used their services some years previously. We met with Frances in early January 2019. Together in the lounge at Safari Consultants offices, over tea and biscuits, we discussed ideas for a Safari and our preferred departure time in February/March. Within one week we received two comprehensive itineraries and chose a two centre stay at Kicheche conservancies in Kenya. A couple of days after we had booked and paid for the trip, a terrorist event occurred in Nairobi where we were due to stay overnight prior to travelling on to the first camp. Within 24 hours of the incident Frances provided us with an update on the situation and reassurance that our Hotel (The superb Tamarind Tree) in Nairobi was some distance away from where the incident took place. All the arrangements worked flawlessly. The pick-up from Nairobi airport to the hotel was excellent as was the transfer from the Hotel to the domestic terminal. Our driver helped with taking our luggage to the desk and with check-in. A worried check-in-clerk approached us concerned that our baggage far exceeded that allowed for the flight. Thankfully we had taken Frances' advice and booked an extra seat. On hearing this a broad smile beamed across the clerks face and he gave a smart salute before returning to complete the check-in procedures. The tented accommodation at the camps was excellent. All the facilities you would expect to find in a top class Hotel were provided including a hot water bottle. The latter definitely a necessity for the cold nights and early mornings – yes, they even put hot water bottles in the jeeps. Considering where we were, the food was quite simply of an amazing quality. We cannot fault the service we received save for the fact that it would have been nice had there been a few more chocolate biscuits with the tea and biscuits Frances gave us during our initial consultation! Highly recommend them and we will use their services for our next safari or trip to Africa.

She under-promised and over-delivered. We had no negative surprises at all. Jane came highly recommended to us by friends, and we recommend Safari Consultants to anyone wanting a "vacation of a lifetime".
