Sep 29,2023Fantastic company - looked after our every needs from start to finish. Can’t recommend them highly enough. I have a life threatening nut allergy - they made the safari camp (Off Beat Mara) aware of this and all other hotels we stayed in along the way. Whilst in camp I even had my own chef cooking my food in a different kitchen to everyone else’s food so as to avoid cross contamination from any nuts. Amazing. We will definitely be using you again.

Sep 27,2023We wanted two main things out of the trip: a good chance of seeing Wild Dogs and to catch Tiger Fish on the Zambezi River (fly fishing). We got both in abundance. Safari Consultants take the time to understand what their clients want and the three camps recommended by Frances (Kafunta River Lodge, Tafika Camp and Tusk & Mane's Kutali camp) were the perfect combination of comfort and adventure. The travel logistics were all taken care of and we just had to sit back and enjoy everything Zambia has to offer.

The options we chose turned out to be very closely matched to our personal preferences. 3. All transfers (including an in-country commercial flight for one of our party) were arranged without fuss and were implemented flawlessly. 4. We were kept informed of arrangements and given detailed information and advice about travelling and the camps we were staying at. 5. Communication was excellent and all emails were responded to promptly. No query was too trivial.

Sep 20,2023Our safari to Masai Mara was perfect from beginning to end and all through the expert and detailed planning of Frances at Safari Consultants There were no problems - and that’s no mean feat with long haul flights, transfers, internal flights, and three different types of accommodation- each one perfect but different from each other. It’s not always possible to see everything you hope to as nature is so fickle! Luckily our stars were all aligned with a fantastic sighting of the river crossing - an experience we will never forget

There attention to detail and excellent knowledge was clear to see from day one and they planned a trip which was just perfect. We had been to a few consultants/agents regarding the trip as we didn’t know where to start but the service from Safari Consultants made us feel confident in there ability, which turned out to be correct! We can’t thank Frances enough for arranging a trip we will never forget. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Frances and the team to anyone.

Sep 08,2023As we were new to safari we needed lots of information and guidance to get the right package for us, whilst we had done lots of research and had some ideas it was great to have Joe give us the positive and negative of our ideas and gave us lots of options to consider. He was extremely helpful every step of the way despite numerous changes to our plan! The whole trip was amazing and so well organised once we arrived and were well taken care of. This has been the best holiday and will definitely use Safari consultants again for our next safari!

They gave us all the info we needed and helped us choose our holiday itinerary. They took care of every detail and kept us informed all the way along selecting and booking. Aug 31,2023This is my 4th safari with Safari Consultants; my first was 25 years ago. This one was by far the most expensive, largely because Africa in the high season just keeps getting more expensive, but it also delivered full value and then some. Every lodge that we stayed at was more comfortable than my own home, and some of the cabins were larger than my apartment. The food was good and in a couple of places it was amazing. But the reason I keep using Safari Consultants is that they get me the best guides in Africa. I could live on bread and water and sleep on the ground, but you can't see and understand what's going on around you without a guide who knows the area and the biology.

Aug 30,2023Near the end of May 23 I was getting grumpy . . . not having an African safari booked for this year so I rang Safari Consultants, and though quite late into the year they organised this safari. I stayed at 4 camps, Musekese in Kafue National Park, Old Mondoro in Lower Zambezi National Park, Tafika in Luangwa Valley and finally kaingo also Luangwa Valley. Awesome! (an overused word but not in this case). All great camps in their own right, fantastic wildlife, great guides/staff and terrific food and hospitality. Faultless organisation by Safari Consultants so a completely memorable experience. Awesome! Said it again.

They obviously have amazing relationships with the camps in Africa, who couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. The game viewing and service levels were extraordinary!
