Jon was incredibly professional and understanding of our caution and worked with us to address all our concerns. In the end SDLT delivered a great service and a great outcome. Definitely recomended.

He contacted me via a lovely personal video message to explain we have overpaid on our stamp duty and offered to help and after a brief conversation I accepted. Sep 10,2022Where to start... Jon reached out to us a couple of months ago and informed us he believed we may have overpaid our SDLT. Understandably we were quite dubious about this but upon further investigation and talking to Jon any doubts we had were soon replaced with hope that he would be able to help us. With a no win, no fee policy we proceeded with the application. The process was extremely straight forward and easy, communication was great and the overall service received was excellent. Within 3 weeks we heard from Jon and we were overjoyed to be successful in our application, the money was transferred into our account instantly and the reasonable fee was very much worth it. I would not hesitate to recommend Jon and his team a thousand times over. They made the whole process easy and hassle free. My wife and I were reluctant initially, however, we decided to pick up the phone and speak to SDLT direct and know more about their service, timelines, cost and ensure they are genuinely trustworthy. It was the best decision we made and Jon and his team were on the ball, very professional and responsive at all times setting realistic expectations from day 1. We provided info requested including pics. We then got a call within weeks to advise us of the good news, funds transfered same day! We were over the moon with such fantastic hassle free service at minimal cost saving us time and effort if we were to appeal SDLT ourselves. And after contacting Jon and enquiring, he very clearly explained the context, process, and timescales to reclaiming overpaid stamp duty - and was clearly knowledgeable which made us put our trust in him. And as 'no win, no fee' it was even more safe and secure to explore the possibility of a reclaim. So we completed the simple forms and provided the photo evidences requested (all by email) - and sure enough as if by magic, we received the full reclaim payment Jon had predicted at the outset into our account - 3 weeks later!
