Aug 05,2022We were a bit sceptical of this service at first as we had not been made aware of the potential stamp duty overpayment by our solicitor during the purchase of our new property. Jon at SDLT Experts explained the qualifying criteria and process on our first call. We sent over all the documents and evidence required within a few emails and the stamp duty refund less fees arrived in our bank account today. Jul 15,2022Jon at SDLT Experts Ltd approached me regarding the possibility of me overpaying on stamp duty on a recent house purchase. He advised that as my property had a self contained annex, I may be due a refund on the stamp duty I had paid. I was sceptical at first but as he explained and I verifed externally, it is not as uncommon as I thought. Jon guided me through the documentary requirements and then processed my refund application swiftly and without fuss. Within three weeks the refund was in my bank account. I cannot begin to described my gratitude I have for Jon and the work he carried out for me and I would recommend him unreservedly to any potential customers who finds themselves in a similar situation.

Jul 05,2022I was approached by a number of players who had correctly picked up on my recent house purchase and the fact that the annex should be considered when calculating stamp duty (a specialist area that was not a focus for my conveyancing solicitor). Many of them were asking for unreasonable fees, pressure selling, giving me the call centre style run around or using scare tactics. Jon at SDLT provided a personal, no fuss, professional service, turning the report around in days and with a positive outcome in weeks. A great service.

At first sceptical about the process, but SDLT experts assured me on the process and was a no win no fee agreement. Money received just shy of 4 weeks from submittal of the report.
