Feb 25,2022We were contacted recently by SDLT Experts Ltd with a mail shot in the post. I read up about what they do and was amazed that they said that we had paid too much stamp duty when we purchased our property in September 2021 and that they could hopefully get it back. It was on a no win no fee basis so I thought I had nothing to loose. We were contacted by other companies who would also do this but they charged a lot more than SDLT were charging. I checked out the company reviews which all looked ok so thought that I would let them try and get back our overpaid stamp duty. In less than 3 weeks from them submitting our request we have the money in our account. Thank you to Jon for his expertise in this area and identifying that we had paid too much stamp duty.

Feb 18,2022This is one the best companies when it come to SDLT. Jon and the team are just exceptional! When Jon first contacted us we were a little nervous, not sure if we were willing to proceed but as it turned we had some serious £££ paid back to us from HMRC for stamp duty. Due to our annexe we paid more Stamp duty than we needed to and SDLT Experts pointed this to us and we didn’t have to do anything. They did it all and we got back what was owed. They were very honest about how much we were going to get. There was nothing hidden and we got exactly what they said we were going to get. These guys know what they are doing and they do what the know! Very, very pleased indeed!

Feb 13,2022After hearing of the potential of obtaining a rebate on our stamp duty, it was ideal timing that we received Jons marketing material and video through the post. We had already looked at trying to apply direct to the relevant govt agency , however had given up due to Complexity. After one initial call with Jon and after providing some limited information and agreeing to let Jon work on our behalf we have received the exact rebate amount directly into our bank account two and a half weeks after we started the process. Feb 08,2022Jon Fitch was absolutely wonderful. First contact was January 17th and our money has now been paid into our account on February 8th. All you need to do is fill in a couple of forms, take a few photos to prove the separate dwelling and leave Jon to weave his magic. I would definitely recommend his service.

But after my research and realising that all their claims were true, I gave it a shot. They told me it will take around 3-4 weeks to get a response from HMRC and the refund. Guess what? The refund hit my account in less than 3 weeks. I am so happy about this service and truly appreciate SDLT.

Jon has been great, talking me through the whole process and gently nagging to chase the solicitors for the required information. Was lower cost than some other providers. Would highly recommend.

Jan 11,2022Jon contacted us recently with regard to our over payment of Stamp Duty on a house purchase , he advised us that he could make a claim for a refund and after discussing this we decided to let Jon deal with the claim , after a few weeks we were pleasantly informed by Jon that he had been successful in making the claim for us and he had received the full refund from the Reenue which he promptly handed over minus his reasonable fee.
