Nov 27,2019Items were picked up in CA on Nov 4th to be shipped to TX. I was told it would be held in a warehouse for about a week and shipped out promptly with delivery within 1-3 weeks. Three weeks later and they are now calling claiming the shipment weighs over 4,000lbs for moving contents of 1 room. Original quote was $2249 and was given in good faith with specific descriptions of all items and insurance purchased. They are now demanding $5275 and items still have not shipped.

Nov 07,2019I am not happy with my service and I am kicking myself for not going with MayFlower since this move ended up costing me more than I was accepting. Yes, I will accept that the initial estimate is not the final but their process should be better and to receive the final bill of over 1k more really caught me off guard. Next, they didn't come pick up my things when they said there were and the lady who called me said she was told I called to cancel due to rain which was not the case. I called to find out if they would still be coming due to rain and asked for a phone call from the movers. That didn't happen instead I waited hours only to call back to find that it was being rescheduled which a phone call would have helpful. Next, whoever they use to build the pallets obviously didn't know what they were doing due to placing a box clearly marked china on the bottom of the pallet therefore some pieces got broken. I am sorry but that is clearly someone who doesn't care. Now I will accept some reasonability because I had to take chance on not getting insurance because the move was already costing me a lot so in my mind it appears to me that since I didn't do that nobody cared about my things because they wouldn't have to pay for anything. There were a lot of things poorly stacked and I guess I got what I paid for and should have just took the hit on the higher price with another company. I will not recommend or use this company. I see this company got good reviews so sad that wasn't my experience. This review probably won't matter either but figured I would put my thoughts out there.
