Jul 30,2019Ship Smart provided superb service. The only recommendation I would make is to ensure customers are clearly informed shipping pallets are added to the weight and increases the cost. The pallets are the heavy duty kind (and I am glad they used these as they protect the furniture best) but they are heavy (about 50lbs each) and the additional cost was unexpected.

Jul 13,2019Best customer service I've experienced in 40 years of moving! They treat your belongings as if they own them! Respectful, careful, skilled and efficient. Prices are very reasonable for such "white glove" service. Usually shipping to Alaska is exorbitant, but Smart Ship is more reasonably priced than expected. They worked with me on timing and delivered as promised. A joy in our culture today!!!

Jun 19,2019This is the most disappointing service I've ever used. I had furniture and boxes shipped from Hayward California to the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania area. The quote $1,700- I was given was extremely under weight and I added boxes from my storage. I got a call and they said my painting required a custom crate for an additional $600 that I approved. After they put t the packed boxes on the pallet to ship, Ship Smart gave me a final bill for $4,700. + An additional fee of $600 for inside delivery. I was told after I paid on May 22nd , I was told it would take 10 days and it would be there before I flow in on June 7th. June 7th came and went. After several email and telephone calls, all I got was "I'm sorry and were checking". I was told the truck arrived in Pittsburgh on the 12th, still no delivery. I was contacted on the 17th of June and was told my delivery would be dropped at a delivery company for inside delivery on the 18th. I just called that company and was told they don't have my furniture yet and would take about a week to deliver. Unfortunately I have to return back to San Francisco and still don't where my delivery is? So far I've paid $5,300 for a bedroom set - without matress and box springs- a painting and already packed boxes. This does not include the the round trip flight airfare and this company won't even supply me with a supervisor. It's almost one month for a ten day journey?? The only good thing about this company is the amazing advertising they use to lure you into there service. I don't even think NASA uses them because they would only use them once like me. This is a horrible service that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Reference P9115-67

Jun 13,2019I used Ship Smart to pack and ship my belongings from Georgia to California. Most of my stuff I packed myself and only needed a few fragile pieces to be packed by them. My things were picked up on Thursday May 16th. I received a call from Ship Smart about a week and half later informing me that my one oversized custom military frame had been damaged. The glass was broken. They did offer to reimburse me the price of getting a replacement but this shouldn’t have happened in the first place. If this is a reputable company then everyone you have working there should take good measures and care to ensure customers belongings and property are protected whether when it’s being carried, packaged or driven. When my shipment arrived on June 5th, I was also missing a weight bar from the inventory list that was made. Every piece of box and article in my inventory had my name written on it or at least my initials. You have one job to do and that’s keep track of and care for customers belongings from point A to point B and that was not done. I definitely will not be using this company and their services again.
