Sep 19,2017We had to move a few pieces of furniture and about 20 boxes from Pittsburgh to Long Island NY. The move was too small for major lines and ShipSmart was recommended as a possible solution. I contacted ShipSmart via phone and was able to obtain all of the information to proceed with the move. Although costly, the care taken from moving the items out of my home into the NY home was a definite selling point over shipping things via UPS or some other carrier. They secure the items and put them on a flat and then wrap that so that all of my belongings were in one group. The items arrived in NY a few days later. Would recommend for sure!

Aug 08,2017Ship Smart is a wonderful service for those who want to move just part of a household. The personnel at every step of the way were responsive and very professional. The people who packed up Mom's apartment were engineers -- really! They efficiently and carefully packed the apartment contents, padded items against breakage, utilized every available space to keep the shipment as compact as possible, and were very fast. The people who delivered the pallets to our curbside communicated their arrival time and were very courteous. The pallets were placed carefully, and were easily accessible for us to unpack. We would definitely use this company again, and happily recommend them to all who ask.

Delivery was faster than I expected and the receiver told me that the delivery guys were very nice and did what was expected. I would recommend Ship Smart and would use them again.

Only question I had was how they measured the poundage, as the charge was based on an estimate and I was told it would be recalculated after picked up, however the price remained the same. Huh? At any rate, everyone I encountered was professional and pleasant.

From the early phone and e-mail communications, through the pick-up and final delivery in Seattle, everything about this company was done efficiently and with a high level of professionalism. At every step, what was promised was always delivered! I could not recommend this company any more highly! It's the best!

Jun 24,2017Phone call scheduling was very friendly and professional. The crew that came to wrap was well organized and figured out how to handle a 300 pound antique china cabinet with weal legs. The people on the receiving end were very pleased with the delivery notification, ease of working with their schedule, and placement of the items. I would definitely used them again.
