My experience with ShipSmart was very positive. I would use them again
Pickup great, but at delivery 1) all packing material not removed 2) found piece that turns on the floor lamp on floor, so broken and needs to be replaced 3) desk lamp shade delivered with black marks and creases ; also needs replacement & 4) piece of enamel design on expensive floor mirror broken off . ...upsetting as didn't expect to have to repair/replace items as told 98% no breakage record so didn't get insurance. Not sure if caused by way packed at pickup or a little carelessness when delivered. I would appreciate a prompt response with your thoughts about what occurred and since you seem very interested in providing good customer service, anything you can do to make us feel better about the damaged pieces would also be very much appreciated.

I used Ship smart to move artwork from NY to FL. The Customer Service team was on point the entire time from start to finish.
Ship Smart is the greatest service around. My shipment was in Georgia and I needed it moved to Texas but did not want to drive from Ga to Tx with it. Priced several options and Ship Smart was not only better in price, it was pain free and everything arrived intact without a scratch. The packing was unbelievable. Great customer service, excellent packing, worked with me to get the best price after price went up one the item was packed. Highly recommend.
Our stuff got to us, but delivery was a little rocky. No clear from the beginning is that your stuff is left on pallets and you have to break it down and move the stuff yourself, plus dispose of the pallets. Packing was good and efficient, but tracking delivery was not perfect. Ship Smart uses independent hauling and warehousing at the delivery end(I think), so tracking delivery is tricky. An OK experience, but I think it comes down to better communication so the customer knows what to expect. As a footnote, because our delivery was delayed a day the ShipSmart manager reimbursed us for an extra nite hotel stay! This shows a commitment to customer service-- we'll use them again!!!!!!!!!
In my case, the estimated cost was 50% below actually. However, it was oversized and heavy furniture. I am satisfied with the service from Ship Smart and would consider them next time. The goods arrived as scheduled and in good shape -- no damage.
I needed to ship a piece of furtniture my mother left me when she died. It wasn't brand new so I was worried about it making it the journey in one piece. Shipsmart was always nice and willing to answer my questions even when I was just inquiring. Shipsmart had to send my furniture to another company that ships across the pacific. My only gripe is they didn't put my name on the box so the pacific company didn't know who's it was for. If I wasn't on top of it my package could of been lost. i wish it was less money but they were the only company that would ship my one light weight item. Most shipping companies have rules where the pallet has to be at least 2000lbs. I wish they had a tracking system you could see as well. Well all in all I'm happy with my experience and I would recommend them.
Two antique wooden and glass pieces sent and arrived damage free. Takes a bit of time for everything to get handled but the company was professional in all respects.
Ship Smart was reasonably priced, and every staff member I talked to was informative and answered my questions clearly. Pick-up was a breeze, and my items arrived on time, intact, with nothing broken. I'd use Ship Smart to move again in a heartbeat!
Everything was done as promised and on-time. Paintings were well packaged and most are now unpacked and intact. Our local workers were very professional, polite and efficient.
things went well except when it came to communication the was a lack thereof. Was told things were to be delivered between 10am and 2pm. I had people who took time out of their day and cancelled appointments to insure someone was home to receive. nobody communicated to me there were delays and nothing showed up till 4pm. Seems to me communication is not high on priority list.
We were glad that your company accepts smaller moves. Everything associated with the move went well and there were no unexpected surprises or additional charges.
