Nov 18,2016Ship Smart recently packed up some small items for us for a move to a 2nd residence. Sean Jackson and his helper on this end were just the greatest! They handled everything with the upmost of care. On the receiving end, Alex and his helper were the same...very careful with our items, unpacked several of them and took away the packing. Everything had been well wrapped and not a single item was damaged in any way. The only small concern we had was with our estimate, we had to change a few things and thus did not know the amount until just before delivery which did end up being more than our anticipation, but worth the extra cost. We also did not know that even though our shipment had arrived in the new area, it was another week before delivery. This would have been helpful to know in advance. Highly recommended!

Nov 04,2016Very professional. I used same employee for the majority of my transaction. He did a good job. I only wish they would give you the 10 percent mark off at the END of the transaction, prior to the actual shipping. Also, clients should be offered the right to view the actual final weighing, even if you have to journey to Ship Smarts San Francisco shipping facility. Overall, my experience was ok.

Oct 29,2016The shippers arrived on time and diligently kept track of items going to CA instead of AZ. I had packed most of our boxes - there was no furniture involved, but quite a bit of precious artwork. They packed the fragile glass pieces on site. I watched and knew they would arrive in perfect condition. They took the remaining artwork (paintings and sculptures) to their warehouse and crated them there. Everything arrived at its intended location on time and with zero damage. The packers and unpackers were professional, conscientious and friendly. They unloaded everything from the pallets, took away the debris and did absolutely everything they promised. What a great experience, much more personalized than my many (and more expensive) previous moving adventures!

Oct 06,2016We needed to ship a few items of furniture and several boxes of stuff from my mother's condo after she died recently. I checked around on the internet and found Ship Smart, which seemed to be exactly what I needed. Given the constraints of the job, having to combine several small lots into a full load, I was prepared to wait a while. The items were collected quickly and stored in a Houston warehouse to be aggregated. We were notified when the shipment was on the way, and when it arrived in San Francisco. Delivery was exactly when we had arranged it. Several items required two men to carry up to the second floor, the main floor of our house. No problem for the workers who showed up. I was quite pleased with the service, given the difficulties involved.

Sep 27,2016My daughter was moving to Florida and wanted some of her personal things with her. We were able to ship some of her items via ShipSmart. I would use them again. My only issue is it was a bit than the quote in the end. I added a couple small things which should not have affected that much. I will use them again with the understanding until they get my things and weigh them the estimate is a gestimate. They were a good company.

Ship Smart was on point every step of the way: estimate, scheduling, precisely on-time pickup, reasonably rapid shipment with no damage, and on-time delivery. And, importantly, they were reasonably economically priced. Their subcontracted pickup and delivery movers were punctual, courteous, and patient to answer all questions and address all concerns. I would definitely use Ship Smart again!
