Oct 01,2019Initially was very happy with the quick and easy method of ordering with plans arriving within 24 hours. A few back and forth before they managed to see the layout but got there after a couple of days. Parts arrived a couple of weeks later.....well most of them. Rubber missing from the glass clamp and no screws to fit the rail to the brackets. Called them and got through EVENTUALLY and got the rubber sent out within a couple of days. A week later, 2 phone conversations and an email and I am still waiting for the bolts. I thought that missing bits was an MFI trait, not when buying over a grands worth of handrail. It appears that once they have your cash, the service goes straight out the window. Lets see how it goes when I return it all!

Sep 30,2019I ordered my glass balustrade in July and still no sign of it turning up. Initially I had good service form the managers Tracy and Amy but am beginning to wonder what is happening. I was told today Tracy has left the company. I live in hope they will come. And the company is not in trouble.

Sep 29,2019I placed an order for 5 units for a project I have at the moment as the price was right and everything seemed ok. Later on that day I was panicking a little as I have never dealt with shs before and I read the few bad reviews from recent times and my heart started to sink, I phoned them up to cancel my order and the sales guy said he thinks some are malicious and probably due to some office changes, employing staff I know how things can be when you no longer employ them so I bit the bullet and left the order to run. Have to say that glad I did as all glass arrived brilliantly and in the quoted time. 5 stars to shs 👍

Sep 29,2019Zooma restaurant in Compton, Wolverhampton have just had a beautiful glass staircase fitted by SHS. We were delighted with the the staircase and the outstanding workmanship. The price was excellent, I highly recommend SHS.

Sep 20,2019Quite the most appalling customer service I have ever come across. We have been waiting 6 months for our balustrades and the job has still not been carried out. We receive no updates from the company and have to chase them constantly. They said they were going to install them yesterday and then cancelled and re-scheduled for today. Now they have cancelled again. This is a company in disarray. I would never use their services again.

Sep 12,2019Messed about with survey date. No one turned up. Eventually done a month passed and no communication. No one bothers calling back. Still waiting for a fitting date. Chasing up constantly and calls ignored. Latest today Managet Tracey was supposed to call.....still waiting. Paid for glass months who. Shoddy. Extremely angry.

Sep 04,2019Completed 2nd purchase recently for circa £1500.00 no problem with the product but there will not be a 3rd purchase, getting delivery dates or any kind of communication past the sales point is very poor, fitting the 2nd balustrade again with parts missing !this makes me look bad and costs me money to return and fit missing parts when they are supplied.

Aug 30,2019Have been waiting for over one month for my order and still no sign of when it will arrive. Sent email enquiries with no response .Have phoned and been told I would get a call back from the sales manager which didn't happen. Have been told now that they are just waiting for the posts.Has I only ordered 3 glass panels and 5 posts I was expecting a quick order with the items in stock. Delivery was going to cost about 125pounds for 5/6 miles journey so I will pick them up my self. I won't be recommending this company.

Aug 20,2019We have had so many problems ......lack of communication was so frustrating ......once they had been paid the customer service was awful. Parts were missing from the delivery ....damaged glass...... ghost delivery dates.....to be honest the feeling is that these guys work on commision however dont know anything about the product they are selling ..... we called the office on numerous occasions no answer......when we actually managed to talk to someone and expressed to SHS that we had a problem a promise of a call back within a hour was promised however this never happened on more than 8 occasions. We would not recommend this company !!!!!

Jul 16,2019Cannot speak highly enough of my dealings with SHS. From the initial sales discussion, to the design drawings, all communications, through to final delivery - all first class. The product itself is amazing quality and price. I now have a super luxurious patio which I have customised with composite decking, lighting, with a glazed wildlife pond underneath. Thank you so so much. A company to be trusted.

Jul 08,2019I found SHS very easy to deal with from inception to completion. Having chosen to fit the balustrade myself I found the instructions clear and concise, the design is well though out and beautifully engineered. I was missing a corner piece from the delivery but the SHS team was very helpful in sending me one out next day delivery. End product looks fantastic, would definitely use again.

Apr 10,2019Having not installed the product previously I asked every question I could think of and there was huge amount of to and fro before I was happy to place the order. Advisors went to great lengths to make me feel comfortable with the system and happily answered every question I had. The Elegance product and system is very high quality and the design allows for numerous opportunities to get round minor discrepancies in the substrate and setting out process.

Feb 27,2019Delivery- Very good and was handled well and neatly placed in the garage Product- Unbelievable product and amazing tool box to be able to assemble the balustrade. Did notice on 2 panels of glass that they had very fine scratches each about 20cm so maybe a removable sticky plastic film/cover needs to be applied to the glass once its produced. Fitting Instructions Both the paper instructions and you tube videos sent were very helpful and informative. Customer Service and Price You were very helpful throughout the quote/order process and very patient when dealing with me and my father in law and the many questions we asked. SHS Products are very competitive on the market and not sure I could of been happier from start to end.

Jan 09,2019My experience of trying to get a very simple quote, means I want nothing to do with this company. I’m giving 3 stars as i only had contact with 1 sales person but that was more than enough— reading though other reviews, they seem good as long as nothing goes wrong.

Oct 04,2019Appalling customer service and incompetent staff to work with. We have waited 6 months for the balustrades to be installed . A subcontractor came in a week ago did a botched job and has failed to install the second balustrade. Despite speaking to the sales assistants and customer service team who all agree that we have received appalling service no one gets back to us to rectify this. They make promises that they will call is back with an update and no one does. If I had the money to take them to court because of the stress that they have caused us and the wasted time that I have had waiting for them to arrive on site (through annual leave) then I would do it. I have never dealt with suchlike.
