Dec 13,2023Stumbled upon SHS on receiving the most ridiculous quote from a local firm. The quote to install from SHS stood on the same platform but the saving grace here is that SHS offer a supply only option. The pre sale service was great - all queries answered by friendly, knowledgeable staff. In fact, quite a few emails and calls were exchanged and we were provided with full install information prior to any payment being made! Now that’s customer service!! We’ve never fitted a balustrade before - and even though our area is tiny in comparison to many; we were happy to find the system simple to install. Very good quality product; and it looks great. Happy! Yes, I would recommend SHS service.

Delivery was great with their logistics dept going out of their way to accommodate my needs. I am delighted with my entire experience and would highly recommend this company.

Oct 19,2023Firstly I got a quote locally and thought it was a bit expensive so I rang Imogen at SHS to get a new quote and couldn’t believe how much cheaper it was. We needed posts and a bespoke gate. I was informed the gate could take 3 to 4 weeks as it was bespoke but I was in a hurry as it builders were here working. I asked if they could speed the delivery up. The post got delivered in 2 working days and the gate within 7 working days. We had drawings of what we required within hours of the order from Sionna at SHS and we approved them for the order to commence. It was my fault I realised I had forgotten to order 8mm inserts for some of my posts so I rang Imogen and she put them in the post for me with no charge. My whole contact with SHS was friendly and very professional, I think a lot of companies could learn from the customer service SHS gives.

Oct 10,2023From my initial enquiry, through to delivery, we had regular communication with Imogen and Sionna which made the whole process easy. We had our own builder install the balustrade, and he was happy with the instructions given. The finished Wire Rope Balustrade finishes our newly laid patio and is just what we wanted. We are very happy.

Oct 07,2023I normally don’t leave feedback, but I was very pleased with the service SHS gave me regarding my Balustrades from the sales team Paulina and Nicki right through to the excellent brilliant professional fitters they provided me with Lucky and Bal. They did a superb job, they turned up on time and explained the process throughout from the Survey stage right through the end.

The surveyor/fitter (I think his name was Geoff) and his colleague were very professional and have done a brilliant job. Love my balustrade and am pleased that it's made things safer for my 2 little grandsons in my tiered garden.

The service was as good and they really helped to rush through an order so it would arrive whilst I had the builders here. Wonderful quality that we are delighted with. It looks fantastic and it was exeptional value for money. I would recommend.

Apr 18,2023Garry and Lindsey Taylor Leicestershire SHS provided us with a glass balustrade system. Hours were spent on the internet researching different companies but just had a good feeling about this one. From start to finish the service was outstanding. We asked if we could visit their Walsall factory to see the quality of the system and we were made very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and Dave and Chris were happy to spend a lot of time with us answering all of our questions and we were able to establish that the product was precision engineered and of a very high quality. Chris even made a visit to our site to check our measurements were accurate. Our order was placed, was delivered exactly on time, was extremely well packaged and included all fittings ,even drill bits and cleaning materials. The installation drawings were extremely detailed but easy to follow as we are just DIY enthusiasts and had never fitted anything like this before. It all went together perfectly and we are thrilled with the end result. Dave and Chris were on the end of the phone when we had any queries. The whole experience was stress free due to their professionalism and genuine belief in their product. We would like to thank them for their patience with us. We would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone who wants an extremely high quality product with an excellent customer service. Thank you again

Apr 13,2023I researched the companies products online and then phoned the customer services department. Dave was excellent and very proactive in dealing with the questions I raised. My wife is in hospital having undergone hip replacement only yesterday and I was able to arrange dispatch of the correct stair handrail the same day I contacted Dave. He couldn’t do enough to help, and I was very impressed. Excellent all round!
