Apr 17,2018I wanted a frameless glass balcony & after checking many manufacturers I decided on SHS. The best choice of my long life, from first telephone contact to sales to engineering I was treated like I was spending a £1,000,000. I was kept up to date with progress right up to the confirmed delivery date. The balcony arrived on one truck & was unloaded into my garage. I used the SHS video on YouTube to get a feel of the installation. But really the design is so good I could not go wrong. It looks fantastic & very secure. I had one slight issue with a missing rubber gasket seal, I telephoned SHS & explained what I was missing & no discussion the part was sent by carrier. That is the service you want & I got it. Thank you to all at SHS.

Apr 10,2018Finally went for the Infinity ballustrade and looks stunning now installed. The whole experience with SHS was outstanding from start to finish - nothing was too much trouble and being assigned a designated contact for the process (Hannah) proved invaluable and reassuring. I did lots of research prior to sourcing and purchasing and must say SHS were very competitively priced and delivered a quality product on schedule. I actually used my builder to install the system once delivered by SHS courier (on time) and the install was both intuitive and straightforward. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending SHS at all levels for customer service, quality product and after sales - well done all at SHS - A very satisfid and happy customer

Mar 23,2018From start to finish i cannot fault the company, the quote process was relatively simple and straightforward, there was a slight hiccup from the pricing team to the design team but this was dealt with swiftly By Giles Preene in the design team, his attention to detail was exceptional,make sure you get everything mm perfect so that when you get the items and fit them the results are excellent. I would recommend them highly. I fitted the ballustrading myself and everything required was needed except the floor bolts but this was made clear at purchase stage. The items all arrived extremely well packed and fitted together perfectly. Really happy and top class product.

Mar 15,2018Great Balustrade. We installed our Balustrade around 18 months ago now and it still looks amazing. We live right by the south west Atlantic coast and wanted both the ability to keep the magnificent view as well as have a strong safe barrier around our terrace area. It has been fantastic through all the the severe winter and summer weather we have experienced and the stainless steel and glass have withstood hurricane force winds, salt deposits, rain, snow and rarely sunshine!!! I would recommend this to anyone looking to add quality and class to their property but who also needs the assurance of safety.

Feb 27,2018I have had my SHS ballustrade for 18 months now and I can honestly say that it looks as good as the day it was installed. The quality is excellent, I have compared mine with a local hotel that has just had a similar looking ballustrade installed ( different make ) and it looks cheap and nasty !! I am so glad that I found SHS, my builder quoted twice the price (different make) than the one I paid from SHS !! I found the sales people to be extremely helpful, I was a bit nevous about ordering something online that I hadn't seen, and also worried that the measurements were accurate and that the fit would be OK, it was fine. I was even supplied with anchor plates that fixed the posts to the walls at the top, this was because the building inspector wanted this done, he was very impressed with the ballustrade. I have no hesitation in reccomending SHS products, they are very well made and look fantastic !! I have no hesitation in reccomending SHS, their products are well made and look fantastic.

Feb 25,2018Five star. What a great company. From the very first telephone call I made right through to delivery, the Customer Service was first class. It's not easy working out dimensions for balustrades, especially as I chose not to use their service of a Site Survey and their own Installers. With an 8.4mtr run on once side and eight, very steep steps, this was no small project. I love the final look. As my builder and Carpenter commented "a really class act". It looks fantastic in the daytime and when lit up in the evening, simply Mediterranean! The cost factor was very important to me and it's a minefield out there dealing with so many different companies who think they know what you want. Please, be assured - SHS Products DEFINITELY know what you both want and need. Thank you everyone for making my refurbishment project perfect!

Feb 23,2018Excellent communication from initial enquiry through to installation. Level of service cannot be faulted and the staff members we met onsite were professional and polite. Competitive on price too... We did look at alternative companies and SHS are streets ahead of their competitors. If you are looking to have a balcony installed we highly recommend without hesitation.

Nov 05,2017A pathetic Company.DO NOT BUY FROM THEM !!!!The sales and quote procedure was smooth. The price was definitely the best I could get. But then started the nightmare. The surveyor sent was not knowledgeable, his body language showed he didn't understand what he needs to do. Complained to a manager and he acknowledged that the surveyor was only a contract one and he assured to send a regular one from company. The guy who came was not a surveyor and he himself said that. Then the start of real nightmare. I was told to pay all the sum upfront. Strange but that's the rule of the company. The survey was done on 22.08.17 and they informed me that the hand rail( not the glass) was finished on 12.09.17. But after that it just went on and on asking how long? No real answer. Finally they sent the stock on 09.10.17. Again a guy was sent ( contractor and not employee) to fit them on 11.10.17. He found that the surveyor hadn't done the job properly. I would say he did his best to fit the system within our leased area.. But then, he said they haven't sent the gate for him to fix. Again called a guy in their operations sweet talk and as such pure lies. They said the gate was not upto the standard that s why they didn't send it. What a bunch of jokers!!!! Anyways again wait and wait ( I have already paid in full two months before) . Finally another guy came to fix the gate after doing half the job he said the lock parts were missing. By this time I realised that it was pointless to get annoyed with these people. They kept on giving dates and cancelling without informing, so finally called this senior manager , who informed me that unfortunately he cannot do anything to compensate for this kind of service as the owners of the company do not agree such. The gate was finally installed on the 30th of October,more than 3 months after I paid and survey was done. Then also a asked for a latch for the door they put a rubber string and vanished. The guy who came the last day didn't even bother to get the job signed off . How awful experience it can be after paying about £4k for a balustrade.

Oct 19,2017Good product but make sure you get the dimension right at the sales point as corrections at manufacture can delay matters. On my order sales helped by creating a design that wasn't on the website templates. When you get asked to signoff the dimensions etc take care to check all the measurements and where the arrows extend to, this will prevent manufacturing making a mistake. The use of the the handrail drill guide jig for the Professional system is really useful as it aligns the fixing holes precisely - didn't find this jig mentioned in the youtube guides so take it from me. Corrections were undertaken without fuss and altogether I'm very happy with the end result and price.

Oct 04,2017We purchased the Elegance Balustrades product. Product delivered on time and well packed. Glass came on a purpose built V pallet. All in good condition. One post was incorrect and should have gone to someone else. It was sorted quickly and the correct post was dispatched and incorrect one collected next day. The product is well made and the Stainless steel finish is good. Easy to assemble and fitting was easy. All in all a good product and happy with the result. Time will tell if the SS is the correct grade for being near the sea. Based on experience so far I am optimistic.

Once shs products have your money they couldn’t careless my problem was on going for 16 months from the 1st call I should of trusted my gut instinct and gone with someone else. On the phone you get passed from pillow to post and never get answers continuously let down and excuse after excuse follows. You’ve been warned.
