Exceptional chalet, food, and service.
Ski rep was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area, accommodation and food was excellent (Zermatt)
Accommodation brilliant , food superb, host fantastic. Bus ride to centre was hassle and involved up to 30 mins wait time.
Great holiday! All aspects excellent
I’ve been on some superb holidays in great venues with great skiworld staff and we have booked again for the 5th year
Great ski holiday in St Anton! Excellent staff!
Chalet in great location . Good menu, well- cooked and presented . Helpful staff .
Best family ski holiday ever. Vegetarian food was amazing.
We have been many times to the excellent Chalet Victoria in Breckenridge. Situated in the lovely historic area only a few minutes walk to the ski bus stop and the colourful main street. The chalet is cosy and the wonderful chef Paul produces hearty breakfasts, homemade cakes and biscuits for afternoon tea and superb cocktails, canapes and three course evening meals. Resort manger Caroline goes out of her way to make sure every need is catered for.
Thank you very much for looking after us in March you a credit to your self’s The staff can not do enough for us
Great accommodation, improved by excellent staff at a really great resort (Tignes). What's not to like?!
I have been skiing with Skiworld for more years than I care to remember and I have never had a bad experience. Last season I was in Tignes twice; once at the Aigle Lodge and once in one of the chalets next door. Both offered great accommodation, great food and an ideal location less than 100m from the piste access. I will definitely be skiing with them again next season.
I use them every season as they have great last minute deals and impeccable service
Stayed in the Ski Lodge Aigle in Tignes at Christmas in 2017. There were 10 in our party. All rooms were comfortable but varied considerably in size. The lodge is a very pleasant building and quietly located above Le Lac The staff were attempt and helpful. We pre booked wine (Silver Package) but were a little disappointed in the quality; no where near as good as the complimentary choices included in the charge with Inghams/Ski Total. I have found on previous trips with Skiworld the wine is generally of a poor quality. The exception was a chalet in Aspen a number of years ago. Overall the holiday was good value; we booked it late at a discount. The flights were into Grenoble and if you flown into this airport you will know what a terrible experience it is particularly flying home; it is well over capacity and always has huge queues in peak or low season. I would go with Skiworld again but wish they would upgrade their wine!
We travelled with Skiworld to Chalet Iseran in Val d'isere over New Year 2014. We booked in the July and asked for the best room in the place and were assure that we had it; a small double with ensuite. The staff in resort were amazing, they got us there when other ski companies failed (It was the season of heavy snow!) and our chalet host, Emily was perfect as was our rep Simon Jones, but the chalet itself was mis-sold. We had loads of issues with the apartment. constant noise from a cinema below, a macerator for the kitchen in our room, foul waste flooding the bathroom, beds that didn't fit as a double and no space around the bed, constant water leaks so bad that all the other guests moved out so we had a very quiet new year, no TV, I could go on..... The issue is the Head office team. We had travelled with skiworld to Colorado for a number of years and spent on average £7k on each holiday we thought we were valued customers. We asked for £500 compensation off a £3k holiday and they refused and wouldn't entertain anything. So in summary if it all goes ok - great as the staff in resort are amazing but if you have any problems forget it!!!
One of the things I really liked was that the breakfast was ordered and served individually, much better than helping yourself from a pile of greasy bacon which had been breathed over by lots of people for the past half hour.
Service was falling off towards the end of the season - punctuality? presentation? variety? Otherwise - really great.
Accommodation was good, bed was rather uncomfortable and a very definite dent in the middle! The room was a little small and as there was no wardrobe a few more hooks around would have been nice but the Chalet was in an excellent position for the slopes and lifts. Chalet host was brilliant and food excellent. Would definitely go again if the price was right.
Our chalet was very comfortable and our chalet girl was an excellent cook. However, we had a problem with our foul smelling bathroom (bad drains &/or stagnant water). Also, our precipice route to the main door of Chalet Naomi was covered in a 2 metre snow drift which was extremely difficult to negotiate. This was a healthy & safety issue with the young children & adults in our party & definitely wasn’t acceptable. Both of these issues were mentioned during our stay, but nothing materialised to improve either of the above.
