So far so good! Booked my ticket with ease after watching prices for awhile. Spoke with customer service about the next steps and was told to wait for CC approval in the next hour or so. Billing confirmation came through with in an hour and I was able to book my seats directly with the airline. I did have to pay an additional cost to prebook seats but that seems to be the status quo these days.
Sky Booker had sent me an email, after I booked my ticket, saying that for my international Credit Card they will need scanned copies of my passport and credit card (Front and Back) along with a few other documents! I am in the travel industry and have never heard of such dodgy requests. I have emailed them explaining how I did not feel comfortable sending out this information and have not heard any reply. I do not know if my ticket is even confirmed at this point. DO NOT USE SKY BOOKER
I had a booking with them but after a week, I noticed that my credit card was not charged. I called them and after being with them on the phone, they told me that their system had a glitch, and that is why the booking is not complete. To make the long story short, they told me that I have to pay more since the price that I initially got the tickets was not available any longer! The people are very rude, not professional, and beware of them!
I booked flights from US to Barcelona with Skybooker. I recieved an email from them updating me and letting me know my card had been charged and confirmation would be emailed. I just received the confirmation and went to the airline site and our booking is in their system. Smooth and easy. I will not hesitate to use Skybooker again.
Nadim helped me. He was very resourceful. Thank you!
1. If you need to change your reservations, you might have to wait a day or two. In the meantime, the cost of making the change could increase. I purchased from SkyBooker a ticket on American Airlines to fly from the United States to Europe on June 20, 2017, returning June 24, 2017. The cost of the ticket was $1,267.31. On Sunday, May 28, 2017, I contacted SkyBooker about changing the departure date to June 16, with the return date still being June 24. Later on Sunday, May 28, SkyBooker said that changing the reservations would involve a change fee of $325 plus a difference in airfare of about $470 and that the total cost should be less than $800. SkyBooker also said that the final quote for making the change would not be available until Tuesday, May 30 because the “airline consolidators” were not available on Sunday or the next day, which was Memorial Day. On Tuesday afternoon, May 30, I had not yet heard back from SkyBooker so I called them and was informed that the change fee was $375 and that the difference in airfare was $895.49, for a total cost of $1,270.49. SkyBooker also said that I had only three hours to decide whether to pay this amount because airfares change constantly. Anyway, if you purchase a ticket from SkyBooker and need to change your reservations, don't be surprised if you have to wait a day or two to receive a final quote about the total cost of making the change. 2. Even if the airline cancels the flight, you probably won't receive a full refund. In my case, American Airlines canceled the flight and I requested a refund. American Airlines refunded the amount they received ($1,087.31) and said that I needed to speak with SkyBooker about receiving a refund of the $180 difference between what I paid for the ticket ($1,267.31) and the amount that American Airlines refunded ($1,087.31). SkyBooker said that the $180 included two nonrefundable fees: a $45 “merchant fee” and a $110 “promotion code fee.” SkyBooker did refund a $25 service fee, so the total refund amount I received was $1,112.31, which is $155 less than what I paid. 3. You might be surprised to find out that purchasing an airline ticket from SkyBooker results in a “foreign transaction fee” on your credit card. I used a Visa card to pay for the airline ticket from SkyBooker, which resulted in a 1% foreign transaction fee of $12.67. SkyBooker said that I needed to speak with Visa about this fee. Visa said that this fee was applied because SkyBooker submitted its billing for the cost of the ticket from Canada. I was surprised because I did not recall any disclosure of foreign transactions being involved with purchases from SkyBooker. SkyBooker's website says that their corporate head office is located in Texas.
I had a amazing experience with skybooker. It was easy to navigate and very easy to understand. I found the right ticket for a cheap and affordable price and the booking process was fanominal. I would use this site in the future and would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.
Skybooker online offered an itinerary for the trip at a competitive price. After reading few reviews, I was bit hesitant to book but still decided to goahead with my purchase as they are in close vicinity here in TX. After about 20mins, I did receive my e-tickets. I logged in to Qantas Airways and was able to view my e-tickets and seats. All went well and it was a smooth process. I will recommend Skybooker to others. best wishes.
Worst agency ive ever worked with. They tell you they have easy booking but theyve been killing me for three days now because Im trying to change my return flight and im telling them I dont mind paying the extra charges but they are unprofessional and they dont have an internal communication system they keep repeating the same thing with me. Their customer service is very unprofessional. And theyre so cheap they dont want to call me on my international number. Another point is that they say they have 24 hours customernservicd but whenever i call they tell me they will call me back because the person who can do my request didnt come to work yet! Im very disappointed.
Great experience booking with Skybooker. I found a great deal to France, using Skybooker to book my trip was extremely easy, received my e-ticket within an hour. In the beginning I was a bit hesitant by reading some bad reviews, but for me the entire process was very smooth as I have paid with my own credit card.
Received fast and efficient service for my flight bookings.
The initial booking of our flight was seamless, and wonderful. In fact, I would have given them five stars. That is until I spoke with customer support regarding the reservation. We were inquiring about changing one leg of our reservation. James at customer support was difficult to understand, so I asked to be transferred to his manager. The manager was rude and aggressive. At one point I got so frustrated that I did say a profanity, and he came right back at me using curse words, and saying he could because I just did. I asked to be transferred to someone else, and he told me that my only option was to leave a message for someone, and then he hung up on me. I called back and spoke with James again, and this time James was very rude and aggressive towards me as well. I work in sales, I know how it is when there are unhappy customers. I would never, EVER speak to one of my customers in the way that they spoke to me. The conduct of this company is horrendous. There is no way that they will remain in business with this type of customer support. The website is extremely user friendly, and it was a great experience at first, but I will NEVER book through them again.
My transaction was quick and as advertised. I was a little nervous having read the very few prior comments, but my flights from NY to London were confirmed within minutes and a series of eMails received first confirming my order, followed by one confirming the booking (Inc e-ticket numbers) from the airline and a third courtesy eMail. All very good.
I really don't know why this company has such bad ratings. I had a great experience with them. I booked a ticket from Texas to London and back and my transaction did not go through and they called me as soon as they found out. they held the tickets for me for 3 days. they sent me an email with the flight confirmation and all the flight information. they were so helpful and nice even though I gave them a hard time. I will try to update y'all after I go on my flight! I would buy from the again!
It's a good site and they value the customers and understand their positions.
skybooker is not a scam i was really scared reading the reviews here because i was wanting to book a flight from canada to australia, and in the end i did, and i arrived in Australia safe and returned back safe as well. They do ask for pictures of ur credit card and personal id (especially if u are booking with a credit card that is not under your name, which was my case) and at first i was sketched out. But then i realized all the credit card info and my personal info has been sent through when booking the flight in the first place, so it wasnt like i was sending any new information. They just want to verify your information thats all. The people over the phone were really nice too! if anything i was being the annoying one haha They make sure to call you if you havent given the proper documentation and pictures so be aware of that. They kept calling me about that so i asked them not to and i felt really bad! they were just doing their job, so if you see this skybooker i wanted to say im sorry for being a rude customer, i didnt mean to haha! But yeah everything about this company is fine. i dont know what happened to the other customers. I would have given 5 stars but the one mistake they did was when i had a connecting flight to washington, the booking was to land on one washington airport but to be at another Washington airport to board my other flight? luckily the air line staff noticed so they just re booked it for me, but yeah make sure all your connecting lay overs are correct! I would love to book with skybooker again, i mean it!
I booked the ticket online for my underage daughter which they said wasn't allowed on their website. I called in about an hour after I had booked the ticket and told them my ticket wasn't verified and was told I could cancel in 24 hours no problem with no charges. I mentioned I would like to cancel the ticket and they said to wait till it was confirmed which didn't happen till I called 23 hours later to try to cancel the ticket. That's when the rep sent me the email to say my ticket was confirmed. When I asked to cancel and get 100% of my money back they said the max they could give me was almost $400 less than what I paid for the ticket. Every airline I have ever worked with allows 24 hours free cancellation and I was under the impression after talking to the rep over the phone that this would be the same. Word of advice, don't book with this company go directly throught the airline.
Do not book with this company. Absolutely terrible. I had to spell out the country Ireland and they sounded surprised this country even existed. No words. I tried booking multiple times using different cards and they still couldn't process it. Wanted me to bank transfer the fare. Are you joking? Please don't waste your time booking. I spent so much time sending them passport scans, sending emails, calling them, etc. Just don't do it.
DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! I just booked an emergency flight home for this evening and I cannot get over how rude and unprofessional this company are. Right when I booked, I was told that the tickets will not be released until the transaction is approved by my bank which they said takes up to 24 hours. The confirmation email also got sent straight to junk which immediately set off alarm bells. I called up and they began shouting at me. They blamed this as a "glitch on the website". I asked to speak to the manager and he assumed me that this was not at all possible. My flight is now cancelled, and I have been charged random figures since. Not sure what will happen by tomorrow. Please do not make the same mistake as me! This company is a TOTAL scam.

Aug 09,2017Best ever for it's simplicity. fast, great price and comparison with others for the buyers to see. Just wonderful. Why search on so many sights? Thank you Skybooker.
