I inadvertently registered my pet's details to the wrong microchip. One email to customer service and the issue was resolved. The fee was refunded and no administration charge was made. The service was fast and efficient and I'm staggered by how easily Bree in the customer service team resolved, what I thought to be, a really difficult issue. Many thanks.

Impossible company to contact and ignore emails. I've been trying to reunite a lost Cat with it's owners but smarttrace have done absolutely nothing to facilitate it's return. I would go elsewhere if you care about the safe return of your beloved Pet!

Bree was very helpful. I had an issue with transferring ownership of a dog due to being given an incorrect number. Once I emailed I got the issue resolved within an hour. Really satisfied and thankful for the help.
Only one star bcause it is not possible to give no stars. Impossible to contact someone to help with a genuine enquiry, everything is automated. We supposedly have three ex-rescue dogs registered with this organisation so would consider ourselves good customers. On the basis of this experience my advice is to go elsewhere.

We were contacted by e.mail asking us to pay to continue our chip being registered by a company after owning the dog for more than three years and as we have another dog a little older who is registered with smarttrace I contacted them to register the second dog with them yesterday. I sent a copy of the mail we had received and was told it’s a fraudulent company so if we hadn’t had the first dog registered at smarttrace maybe we would have been duped into sending our bank details and scanned of our savings so I am extremely grateful to Diane who was my contact at smarttrace and I am now in the process of getting our second dog transferred to smarttrace for registration
