My dogs chip has been with them since his birth 5 years ago and when I moved I had no problem in changing my address and telephone number. The Best they recently helped me stop a fraudulent company try to take money from myself and a friend cause of the advice they gave me. I cannot say how great they are and how understanding too.

Dec 30,2024This microchip company is one of the worst I've ever had to deal with. I am an animal welfare officer. They don't record basic information like when was the microchip implanted nor do they have details of the age of the animal. They allow implanters to implant chips and rely solely on the new owner contacting them to register all these details. So many dogs turning up with Smarttrace chips with zero information! You can also never get a response by a human, all automated and if your question doesn't fit their responses, you get cut off. I dread scanning any dog with a SmartTrace chip, I have a dog on death row because of SmartTrace won't get back to me. Time is running out for this dog
