Waste of money. I started in May and they’ve made my bottom teeth look horrific and less straight, the top aren’t moving. They keep telling me to go back a step for a week then move forward. Only to be told to go back again. I’ve done 50 days in 2 aligners it’s crazy. My dentist says it’s because they can’t rotate the teeth without attachments but instead of saying they can’t achieve the results I guess they just wait for me to quit? And each time I email them it’s taking a week to respond. I wish I hadn’t wasted my money.

Expect slow responses and a slow experience. I started in about April and it is now October and stuck on an upper aligner about two thirds of the way through the treatment. After going backwards for a couple of months because of ill-fitting aligner as per their instructions, I have ended up at the same ill-fitting aligner again and unable to progress. Their solution is a $200 fee for realignment. Fair enough, if I was at the end of the treatment. But I can't get there! And I am sure that if I have to wait for additional aligners, the process of waiting will take another 8 weeks. So prepare for slow progression if you can even get to the end without issues. I would not recommend them at this stage. Maybe if I got to the end of the treatment, then the price would offset the amount of waiting and poor customer service. But I am not there yet!

July 28th: Ordered September: Months in and I still have not started. Customer service is appalling. The time frames are terrible. I would not recommend this company. It is cheap for a reason. October: Received a basic teeth whitening kit instead of the braces. I was told they’ve been sent a hen, they’re fabricating them ‘again’. November: Still waiting for fabrication. Still no possible option for a refund. I will keep editing as things don’t happen/happen.
Thanks so much Smilepath!! After being told by others that I was beyond help I am so grateful for the help and advice given to me by Smilepath. I have taken my impressions, which was a very simple process after reading the instructions carefully and watching some videos I found. They were approved the first time and I have now sent them back am awaiting the next step.....I am beyond excited!
The customer service has been excellent explaining the procedure so that you understand. I cannot wait to start my new adventure.
It’s only been a week since I bought the package and I have sent the samples back to them! Instructions were simple and customer service was responsive and fast! Great experience and can’t wait to start my treatment!

Fast and easy correspondence via email. I was given proper feedback and reassurance that I was able to make the correct dental impressions. Have not yet going through the process of wearing the aligners.
I wish people would base their review on the final results rather than customer service and postage skills of the company. It would have saved me time and money! When I first researched Smilepath I found so many reviews which mainly addressed their customer service and not the outcome. I decided to take a chance and go ahead based simply on their cheap price. It was not a wise move. I am disappointed in the results to say the least. My final results did not match the smile projection I was shown in the beginning and when I asked for adjustments to be made I was told I would need to pay extra for that. A few emails back and forth I was told they would waive the $300 fee and I would just pay $50 for the extra moulds that I needed to take more impressions. In the beginning my emails were answered within 24-48 hrs, but once I was in the refinement stage it took at least a week, sometimes longer, to get a reply. Once I got the projections emailed I was quite disappointed as they still didn’t look right and the front teeth on the upper arch seemed to be tilted out, and on top of that I would need to wear the aligners for another 5 months plus 7 months of retainers. I had previously worn the first lot for 9 months and the retainers for 7 months. I was told that that is the best they can do. Quoted from their email: “ Further movements in teeth are not possible without any additional auxiliaries & dental work which we cannot provide, as we provide treatment remotely”. Although I wasn’t too sure about them I told them to go head and manufacture the aligners. When they arrived, the first set did not fit well at all. They were made too short that they did not cover the gum line and the back was was hanging loose. I emailed them about the issue to which they replied after a very long time saying that they’re fine to wear and to chew on some foam chewies to get a good fit. I did not feel confident in their reply and decided to give up the process. I have had braces many years ago but unfortunately stopped wearing my retainer and therefore my teeth shifted again and I thought this low cost option was great as it was just minor adjustments that needed to be made. Unfortunately, I will be exploring my options of braces as I found they give a much better result and were actually quicker. What Smilepath didn’t tell me In the beginning is that I would need to wear my retainers after treatment is complete for 22-24 hrs the first 3 months then 15hours the next 3 months and then 1 month nightly, so an extra 7 months after I completed the treatment. Please save your money and opt for braces.
