She helped me place my order, went out of her way to answer all my questions and then followed back up a few days later. 2nd time I've purchased through this company and could not be more pleased with my experience. Great prices too, but came back for the expertise!

Jun 27,2014Ordered a gas firepit 'kit' (bowl, hoses, fittings) from the internet. I modified a store-bought wood fire-pit in a ceramic table and installed the Starfire product in the bowl. Easy to make the new bowl fit, all the pieces fit together easily and we had a fire that night. Excellent. Easy to light, puts out some good heat and looks cool with the green&clear stones. Good enough that I gave the information to my brother who also bought one.

With the help of the staff, I was able to order a beautiful green fire glass which looks amazing when lit. The staff was wonderful, answered my questions patiently, and helped to make sure I was ordering the correct fire glass from their wide selection of products. I highly recommend this company.

Jun 27,2014Never could get the burner to work without leaving black carbon soot all over the logs. Talked to customer service and tech support but no joy. It's as if there should be a different orifice or a gas/air mixer where the natural gas comes into the burner.

I was "doing-it-myself" with a fire log lighter to burner w/ glass set up and Starfire Direct was able to guide me ( with the appropriate disclaimers to have a professional check my work!) to a very successful conclusion. The prices were also very competitive and believe me, I did check around :) I was very happy with my purchase and my overall experience with this company.

Jun 27,2014We bought about 50 pounds of glass crystals for the firepit direct from you, after buying a similar amount through a local stone store. From the local establishment we bought a ten pound bag that was ordered by the store from you. As such, the store considered the order to be "custom" and wouldn't offer a refund. We wrote an email to you folks asking for a refund for the unopened bag. We never received a response. Folks, we just finished buying 100 pounds of product from you, and you can't give us a refund on a 10 pound bag??? Bad business practice. A year later, the bag is still sitting in my house.

Jun 27,2014I ordered 1/2" fire glass to replace the lava rocks that came with our fire pit table. I love the glass, and our table now has an elegant appearance. I used the estimating calculator on the Starfire Direct website to calculate how many pounds of glass I needed, and the amount was perfect. I had to add some small screening to prevent smaller pieces of glass from falling through the vent holes in the table, so I could have probably used a larger sized glass. I would recommend that others take that into consideration when ordering fire glass. I would use this supplier again. They were easy to work with--I wanted the glass to arrive at our vacation home after I arrived there, and the supplier read my note on the order, and notified me that my order would be shipped on an appropriate date--perfect timing!
