Jan 06,2025Having trawled around all the other furniture stores in Chester, we visited Stokers and was very impressed from the outset - no sales people stalking you whilst pretending not to! Having sat on a number of sofas, we then sat "in" a fabulous range of furniture and that was the decision made. Julie Williams then joined us and delivered fantastic customer service answering all our questions without any presure. When we retuned having measured up, Julie once again was fantastic and incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. Many thanks for everything.

Graham Bedworth took us under his wing. He was very professional, knowledgeable and easy going, there was no hard sales patter. He left us to look around and when we had a question was not too far away to provide an answer. Mark knew that we had a deadline to meet for furniture deliveries and his knowledge and advice in helping us choose the right pieces was invaluable.

He spent time with us whilst we looked through fabrics before deciding on a colour and style. We didn’t want to rush into a decision as we had other stores to look at. Andy did not pressure us at all, we left the store but returned shortly afterwards to make our purchase. Overall a terrific experience - thanks Andy

Jan 04,2025When we arrived late on a Friday eve we were greeted warmly by all staff members who made sure we knew where they were for assistance if needed. There was no pressure whatsoever which was nice. We purchased the sofa we identified and Mike Williams who served us was extremely helpful with all our questions. It was a positive experience entirely due to the manner in which Mike served us. Stoker's now has two new customers! Many thanks Mike.

Jan 04,2025I have been a customer of Stokers in Ormskirk for many years and seeking a new accent chair had no hesitation in visiting yesterday. There was a wide range of choice in store and being able to park right outside the door was a bonus. Apart from sitting in a super-comfortable chair, the best bit was the help and advice received from Tracy Corns. Her encouragement to think about a number of different factors and advice on maintenance of leather was great. She was epic, well done Tracy. I can't wait for it to arrive!
