Amanda Terry in the Furniture Sales Department was very helpful in answering any questions we had in choosing bedroom furniture and dealt with our order efficiently and in a very pleasant manner. Natalie Walsh, Delivery Co-ordinator was very efficient and kept us informed at each stage of the process up to the delivery of our furniture. Nick and Graham, who delivered the furniture and assembled it did an excellent job and left the room clean and tidy too. All of the above employees are an asset to Stoker's Chester.

Dec 11,2024Martin was super lovely in the Chester branch. went in to see if they could do a sofa in the material and shade I wanted as couldn't find the online option. placed the order there and then and confirmed I would need to check sofa size. he had no issue and even a week later let me amend the order to the correct size.

Dec 10,2024Stokers is always our first port of call. A new mattress was required, already 10 - 15 years old we had no grading number to start from, ie soft, firm etc. Called the bed sales person for assistance, Steve Hartwell. This gentleman guided us through a process without any pressure, until we came to a mattress we both agreed on. With discount given and advice on cleaning, turning etc, we believe we have the correct mattress for ourselves. For this we give many thanks to Steve for his unbiased guidance. Thankyou A & C.

Dec 09,2024I recently visited stoker's Ormskirk Roy was very helpful quickly gave me some ideas and let me take home couple of swatches when I came back later that day Tracy came over to see if anything was suitable we had a chat as to what was best she ordered a 3 piece suite and a beautiful leather sofa for our dining room gave us tips on how to look after it superb service start to finish now on my way for a 2nd visit to order tables to complement our furnishings

We were welcomed by Steve H in the bed department and he asked what we were looking for… He registered that we were looking for a high quality product and not just a mattress for 7 years. We mentioned that we had done some research and were impressed by the Harrison brand.He agreed and asked us a few more questions and we were encouraged to try a range of Harrison mattresses and a few others. We noted that there were significant reductions on all mattresses. We decided upon a Harrison Sovereign 15000 and we can’t wait till it arrives. Steve explained the importance of the mattress protector and we added two to the order. He then added two Pillows as a gesture of goodwill. We feel confident that Steve gave us excellent advice based on his 27 years selling beds.

He gave us plenty of space to wander around the store and go back to him when we felt ready to make a potential purchase. He provided fabric samples for us to consider and made it clear that we could take as long as we wished to make a decision. A happy experience.

She established what I was looking for and pointed me in the right direction to browse, then helped to answer all of my queries. When completing the sale, she explained all of the options and double-checked the details of the sale.

Dec 05,2024Buying from this company was from start to finish super slick. All the staff I had dealings with were knowledgeable and professional. I cannot thank Stokers enough for all their help and keeping us up-dated on our order. I live in Cambridgeshire and I ordered a G-plan 3-piece suite from the Ormskirk store by phone. The distance didn't phase them at all, so don't be alarmed if you are nowhere near one of their stores.

We were guided through the process of selecting a suite of lounge furniture expertly with no pressure used in our decision making process. Dec 04,2024Shopped here several times over the years, like the fact that they are not pushy at all and are happy to let you look in peace but are available if required. On this occasion we dealt with Andrew Cleverley who was both knowledgeable and helpful. People assume they are expensive but generally they sell quality products at reasonable prices and will price match if you see it cheaper.

Dec 13,2024EDITED***this has been the only positive experience with Stokers and the rest has been atrocious Although not yet delivered, Scott at Stoker’s Chester was very helpful and patient with the purchase of two G Plan reclining sofas. He has been in touch to let us know that the initial timescale is still on track, and I hope that the rest of the experience is as smooth as it has been so far. EDITED***
