Feb 16,2025Stokers is a really fantastic store to shop in. They have an absolutely amazing choice of furniture - lots to choose from. We were really spoilt for choice!! We visited the shop late December 2024 when we were looking for a new 3 piece suite. We recommend Steve Wood (Sales Assistant) wholeheartedly. We were left to browse the shop and he only came across when he could see that we were ‘struggling’ with our choice. We came away with an amazing quality suite and a great deal too. Would definitely recommend Stokers and their staff especially Steve Wood and would definitely recommend this store to anyone who wants to purchase really good quality furniture. We will definitely be making a return visit in the future. Thank you.

Feb 15,2025Our current bed is from Stokers of Chester - we've had it around 10 years and the purchase experience, plus the quality of the bed was excellent. We decided to look for another at Stokers of Chester. While looking and trying various bed options, we met the salesman Peter at the store. He was courteous and not at all pushy. We tried several other options and honed in on the Tempur range - quite a bit more money than we spent on the previous bed, however, the comfort was a significant improvement. We then tried the Zero G option, with Peter's help. Unbelievable - literally unbelievable. I've never experienced comfort like that in a bed - I was almost asleep in seconds. We were sold. No sales patter, no pushing, just gentle support from Peter and answering all our questions courteously and respectfully. The entire buying experience was out of this world! (Nasa designed the Tempur bed...). I'd strongly recommend you visit Peter at Stokers, Chester and ask him to let you try the range. Make sure you take your checkbook though! We can't wait for delivery to upgrade our bed and enjoy much better sleep in the years to come. Thanks Peter!

Loved fact you can browse without getting pestered and Scott was there when we needed help to place order. Free delivery was a bonus that not many furniture retailers offer.

He was very knowledgable about the sofas in store. We had intended to go to other stores in the area but we found a lovely suite in Italian leather and decided it was right for us. Feb 13,2025The gentleman (Graeme Beresford) that dealt with our initial enquiry when we entered the store was friendly, supportive and informative, and allowed us time to view several suites, without any 'pressure' to secure the sale. He took time to sit down with us when we had decided on the suite we wanted, and was very clear and concise regarding payment terms, production and delivery times, and any other questions that we had. Because of this personalised service we will have no hesitation in using Stokers again, and referring them to other friends and relations.

Feb 13,2025We visited Stokers Chester on two occasions recently looking for riser/recliner chairs and met Martin. He was incredibly helpful on our first visit, suggesting alternatives to the chairs we were looking at. On our second visit a week later he immediately recognised us, welcomed us but left us alone to browse but was never far away to be of assistance when needed. We are delighted with our purchases and the advice we received from him and await our new chairs in a few weeks time.
