Feb 11,2025Having had my suite for such a long time I had decided to go for a new one. I thought it was going to be daunting but to my surprise it was made so easy. There was many to choose from but Steve Wood made it so easy. He was kind and very helpful but not at all pushy. After deciding on my choice of sofa and chair I needed to make a choice on the fabric. I went back with my daughter for this and seemed to take ages to pick but Steve Wood was very patient until I made my decision. I would highly recommend this store to anyone.

Feb 10,2025Phil Aldridge was an excellent Customer Sales Advisor; extremely helpful, polite and friendly, made us feel very welcome, we didn't feel at all rushed or pressurised in any way. Phil was very knowledgeable and advised us where necessary. Everything on the order, paperwork and delivery arrangements all made to our convenience. (Delivery today made by 2 very friendly, polite and helpful young men, packaging all removed and situated exactly where we needed). We highly recommend the company and Phil Aldridge for the excellent service from start to finish.

Feb 10,2025Me and the wife were on the hunt for a new mattress, and Stokers were the only ones nearby who stocked Hypnos ones so we made the trip to Chester. We’d never been to Stokers before so we must have looked a bit lost, it’s a huge place! Anyway Steve Hartwell asked if we needed help, and he was really patient with us. He gave us some great advice, and wasn’t pushy like some salesmen can be (we recently bought a sofa from somewhere else and it was a different story). Steve was great, funny, friendly, and helped us out with everything we needed. Looking forward to getting the mattress we wanted now but it seems like it’s all in hand. Cheers Steve!

Feb 10,2025We had a fairly clear idea about treating ourselves to two new chairs which would provide a superior level of comfort as we enter our 80s. However, we wanted to know what features distinguished each make from its competitors, & how prices compared. Steve Wood was extremely helpful (& patient) in showing us a wide range of options & talking us through their advantages & disadvantages. In the end we feel that we have chosen two luxury chairs best suited to our needs, & are looking forward to their delivery in late March.

Feb 10,2025Informative, relaxed, no hard sell. I visited the Chester store on Sunday 12th January, I had a good idea of the furniture I was looking for. Part way wandering through the store I was greeted by a friendly young man who asked if I needed any help. I went on to explain what I was looking for, he guided me to several settees and chairs I was interested in. He allowed me time to try the chairs and decide for myself if they were what I was looking for. He was knowledgeable about the pieces I had in mind and demonstrated that. Having narrowed my choice down he then offered and got me a hot drink, he allowed me plenty of time to go between the two choices id got it down too. One of my concerns was moving the furniture to clean, Scott went and got covers that are applied to the bottom of the furniture and demonstrated how they're fitted as well as how easily they glide across the floor, he also explained they come with the furniture and will be fitted on delivery. Once I'd made my decision including choosing my fabric Scott clearly explained the process of ordering, the deposit required and the payment process that I had chosen. He chatted throughout in a friendly manner asking about my family and telling me about his. He has since followed up with an email letting me know my order has been processed and will be in touch nearer my delivery date in March. Scott Dupree is clearly good at his job and an asset to your store. Many thanks Angela Evans

I received really great advice from Scott on my first visit and then again from Mark Cain when I placed my order. All in all a brilliant shopping experience.
