What an amazing refreshing experience on buying a used car. Normally there is so much back and forth but both Christian & Kieran were so professional and easy to deal with it really was spot on. The car was as promised and we managed to get a deal that I was more than happy with and quickly from enquiring about the car to driving it away was under 5 days !!

This lot are a law unto themselves. They consistently ignore your marketing preferences and despite not having your agreement to receive any form of marketing, they are relentlessly aggressive in sending unwanted messages and letters flogging gap insurance & service plans. I’ve complained verbally and by email and have had no response- just more marketing stuff. They seemingly flout marketing regulations or think that they don’t apply to them. I think a complaint to the Information Commissioner is needed. Update:- I have completed the online form as requested. I do not have any confidence that you will adhere to this request - you have ignored previous requests. I shall monitor any marketing I receive and will report you to the IC if you breach regulations again. Update:- 7 March 2025 My initial comment t’s have proved correct . I’ve received a letter flogging tyre & brake replacement plans today. This supports my observations that you ignore customer requests. I told you I would monitor and I knew you would fail at the first hurdle. I have no option than to report you to the Information Commissioner for failure to comply with regulations, which I would advise i have done so today however I doubt it will bother you though. I have requested that the IC investigate and appropriate redress is applied

This is my 4th motobility volvo bought fom Mathew Lane at the Scotswood road branch,He has allways been honest with me about the cars handling and easy to under stand when explaing the instruments and controls,he also has a nice manner and makes you feel at ease all the time.
We dealt with Nas who was very helpful without being pushy. The whole experience was straightforward and Nas made it very easy, we also spoke with the manager who again was helpful and not pushy. The whole Woodkirk Stoneacre has a very friendly positive vibe and we won't hesitate to use them in future.

Partner purchased car without any issues initially only to then be harassed a few days later to purchase additional policies which has made the whole experience one we never wish to repeat. We understand it's all about earning commission however really not good practice and let's the process down. Reviews read earlier on Martin Lewis forum re the cover available at Stoneacre speak volumes so great decision not to take out or accept the free services offered as a gesture after needing to amend finance which nearly was yet another issue !!

Feb 04,2025Regards the response below from stoneacre, no time frame from them just that until there ongoing matter with Vwfs comes to a conclusion! That is not a time frame, but it’s ok I’ll just remain out of pocket and with a car I can not drive an can not get to work! But it’s ok I can report to FOS a get even more out of pocket whilst it drags on another amount of months!!!! After lodging my complaint regards the Wrexham branch putting £6495 on the advertised price of the car I purchased after paying the deposit , Stoneacre’s head of customer relations sent me a final response stating they are unable to provide me with an outcome at this stage due to the wider legal implications they have with ongoing with Vwfs. So until that comes to conclusion they can not give me an outcome! Firstly it should not have been a final response but a form of holding response . Secondly the same person only other correspondence to me was a threatening email stating that I remove remove my review from here as the point I made regards Vwfs was defamation towards Stoneacre ! Thou in the response they state the ongoing legal situation with my finance company! Not once did they respond or return the call of Vwfs whom tried to speak with them on the matter.all this after on the 6th December 2024 I was reassured by the Wrexham branches general sales manager that they would get this sorted an look after me. All I have been fed is lie after lie , from my dealings with this company an I was loyal customer for many years all I can say is , if you are thinking of purchasing a vehicle from them think long and hard hard an check all paper work is correct to what you agreed with them. I have now had to forward the response an complaint to the FOS thus dragging this whole saga out even longer!
