I bought my first Dacia 2 years ago and have found Stoneacre excellent. The reception,the service department and the sales team are all really helpful. They explain things well, they deal with issues effectively and their pricing is transparent so you know exactly what things will cost. I recently purchased a newer model , there was no ‘hard sell’or pressure to buy and the salesman was helpful and open about the costs involved.

We bought our Kia sportage from stone acre Halifax in January 24. But it wasn’t until December 24 when we took it in for a service to our local garage who we use regularly that we discovered that it needed front brake pads. As it was supposedly serviced by stone care at point of sale and we had only done 1000 miles we were surprised that they were needed. when contacting stoneacre we were put through to the service dept who confirmed that they had put new front brake pads on car. No way do brake pad need replacing in such a short time. Another problem became known to us when we came to road tax the car. On contacting dvla we were informed that v5c certificate had been completed incorrectly as my husband was not recognised as registered keeper. We had searched for v5c form in house and realised one had never arrived. This then meant that if we had had an accident we would not be insured. I will be taking this further with a formal complaint to head office, this is a very serious issue.

Spotted the car on the Internet drove to Durham and the car was spotless apart from the engine bay,which didn't take me 5 minutes to clean. Service from staff was as expected having dealt with stoneacre dealership before , very pleased with the price of both part exchange and purchase price, this having just been reduced by a great deal than was displayed on the screen. All in all good experience.
Fabulous service received from Toyota Darlington, Michael Mcabe was the sales man and was kind, caring and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Jan 14,2025The staff are great wanting to help. Unfortunately the sales guy didn't explain about charging my new ( first electric car) meaning I was waiting hours for car to charge which in turn was putting stress on the family and spending hours inside a cold car... I can't fault the manager at stoneacre scarborough he showed me everything I needed to know after going back a week later.
