On the 29/9/24 I ordered a dimplex evandale pebble electric stove £499, it was delivered on the 9/10/24 when we opened it we loved the heater especially the colour, well it had a couple of chips on it I took photographs and emailed stovesAreUs the same day. They got back to me and said we will be in touch, I emailed them when I heard nothing, I have also rang them and it’s the same answer we are waiting for Dimplex to get back to us. We did not buy the heater from Dimplex we bought it from StovesAreUs.Brandon does apologise but nothing happens. I rang again and was told the heater was dispatched on the 16/10/24 but we have no heater, I rang again and was told it was dispatched but he had no tracking number( it was not Brandon) so where is it. Today is the 27/10/24 and we have no heater, I know they think I am a nuisance I can tell when I give them the order number but I don’t care, the fire is not for us it’s for my elderly mother in law. Again we bought the fire from StovesAreUs not Dimplex, but apparently it’s Dimplex fault. Please think carefully when ordering from this company delivery took longer than they said and customer care is dreadful. All we want is the heater. Denise Love
The service was excellent next day as promised, driver took it straight into the garage for us. The fire (Firefox 8 eco) is a really good stove very good quality and lovely viewing window. We had Firefox previously in our last house and knew it is good quality so got the better model for this house it hasn’t disappointed. After care also very good, we had a crack in the glass appear after only a few uses so they sent a replacement the next day..,..thank you!
This Company were very helpful as I was unsure about the fire fitting into my fireplace. They gave me good advice and assured me it would be ok. The fire was delivered on time and is perfect. It was also a very competitive price. Overall I was very pleased and would use them again.

Selection and purchase were easy online. The product description was clear, payment was easy, and delivery was fast. We love our ethanol heater, and it is very stylish. There was a sale on so item was good value.
I would have rated higher but while I was told the stove would be delivered by next day express delivery it took 3 days to deliver and then only after I complained. As a result I had to put off the installer who was booked to install on the third day following order.
I had trouble with my online order but it was quickly sorted.

Dimplex Torridon Optiflame Fire. I shall begin this review with the positives. The fire is Beautiful, and exactly like the photos and videos they use to advertise it, it was well packaged, and delivered within 2-3 days; However, I only got to feeling this way about it, once the 3rd fire was delivered to me today, after receiving 2 badly scratched fires previously!! Stoves Are Us, were apologetic during the 14 back and forth emails, and promised to resolve the problem 'right away' but how long is 'right away'?? I gave them a week, and asked for any updates, which I feel reminded them I was still waiting for my replacement fire, and I received the 2nd fire 2 days later. The 2nd fire was also badly scratched, far worse than the 1st one, so I emailed them straight away to request a 2nd replacement fire, and I gave them another week to get it organised before asking for updates, and I was informed that they would re-send their email to the distributor, so I gave them a further week before requesting an update, which resulted in a Glen Dimplex memo being sent to me, saying it had been dispatched and I would receive it within 7 days, 8 days later and another email sent, actually got them moving and resulted in the delivery of today's Perfect Beautiful Fire, so I am a Very Happy Lady today, but boy has this been unbelievably stressful for me. I imagine Stoves Are Us will be blaming Glen Dimplex, and Glen Dimplex will be blaming Stoves Are Us, maybe I have just been unlucky, but it has surprised me that just days after me emailing for further updates, Brandon managed to get a new fire out to me within 2 days, so Thank You Brandon!! I am so glad I didn't give up on it and request a refund when I felt like I was being fobbed off, because the fire is Absolutely Beautiful, I just wish I hadn't had to go through all of the stress this company has put me through by trying their luck at offloading damaged, possibly previously returned, fires to me in the first place. I will not be buying from this company again, as I value My Mental Health and I am so glad this ordeal is finally over!!
