Sep 12,2024I don't often leave 5-star reviews here but the ease of ordering, value for money and excellent customer service I received at StovesAreUs mean there's no other score I could give them. Shortly after ringing in with a query about the online order I'd placed, StovesAreUs rang me back to give me the tracking number and one-hour delivery slot for my package, which was later that day. The pizza oven was delivered on schedule and looks great! I'm delighted with this company and my purchase.

Sep 11,2024Nice log burner - i know it’s a rusted effect, however i was surprised how rusted it was. Slightly touching it gave orange hands and when it rained left rust stain on the patio. Looks nice though.

Sep 11,2024I waited weeks for my outdoor fireplace to arrive and when it arrived it was the wrong item. It took weeks of me chasing for the correct item to arrive. When the item arrived it was damaged. They have picked it up and I am still 3 weeks later waiting for my product. The communication is poor and they simply cannot commit to a delivery date. I would not use them again to buy anything!

Sep 10,2024Purchased the brosley canterbury stove using the price beater offer. It didn't end up being 'like for like' as StovesAreUs couldn't include the flue which I paid extra for. Competitors price was £769 (stove and flue) and I paid £848 for the same from stoves are us. It did take 5 seperate emails to get a clear answer on whether the flue was or wasn't in for the £769 price match.. It wasn't. Delivery was excellent with a kind and professional driver delivering it 2 days after buying. I found set up incredibly difficult. I'd imagined (wrongly) that it would turn up as one piece ready for lifting in to place. It didn't. It was in bits and there were loads of boxes of bits. The printed instructions were rubbish. I rang up in the end because it was so complex and frankly got nowhere on the phone as the person who answered couldn't describe the delivery plate. I'm still not sure what that is or if there was one. Anyway you have to slide the electric fire into the cast iron surround once you have the legs on and removed various bolts and inserted other bolts. You need an angle grinder to cut the decorative flue and finding the glass front was very difficult as it wasn't marked up. It's just perspex with brown peel off paper on and looks like it was part of the packaging. Eventually it dawned on me that it was missing and I managed to fish it out of the bin. The instructions didn't even refer to a perspex/glass insert. So, 4 days later I see there are better instructions on line that are linked to the delivery tab. They're much better. Use them. The door doesn't open by the way lol all things I wish I'd known and spotted before I tried to put it together. HOWEVER I'm still happy with it. It's a good price for a proper heavy cast iron electric fire. It looks real and I'm pleased I spent the money on it.

Sep 16,2024If you want a company with a 'can't do attitude' this is the one for you!!, Every person I have spoken to doesn't want to help, just want to tell me about their terms and conditions and what they can't do, Can't do am or pm, Can't bring to my front door, Can't guarantee the driver will ring 30 mins before. Only thing they can suggest is cancellation, and of course that will cost me! They didn't once say they want to try and help, or look at helping find a solution, they immediately say its on the website, its in our terms and conditions, we don't guarantee etc etc, they actually cut across you talking, they don't want to help or find solutions. Customer support/care is Zero. If you are ordering on line and don't have any issues (I have 6 steps to my front door), I am sure you will be fine, their prices are good, but if you have anything you need to ask for help or solutions to, it is a major problem, I think the staff all work remotely and there is no office back up. I have never written a review before, but I feel that someone in this company needs to be aware that their phone support is lacking
