Like everyone on here was a little worried about so so so so so many bad reviews. I made an order on Wednesday night after 8 and then looks at these reviews - still I took hope from the few good reviews. I used the number (mobile) that was on these forums and call him up Thursday morning as I meant to pay next day delivery as needed these knifes as a gifts for someone leaving the county. I rang about 5 times with no answer so decided to send an email via the website (in fact I sent two asking to upgrade my delivery) - about an hour or so later I had a missed call from the same number I found on here (I though it was going to be someone asking why I had called 5 times ;)) turns out it was the guy from SwissTool.co.uk - I explained the situation and said he would send them next day for me - he asked for my order number and then read me back my details, all was correct so I payed the extra and got send an updated order, 2 hours later got a dispatched email from him. At 11 am this morning both knives turned up at my door as expected. I know a lot of people have had a really bad experience but mine was good so just wanted to let you all know. The only down side that they should fix put a number on the website and really make an effort to answer people or email them back ( I did not need an replay to my email as he rang me back) - I am guessing this is a part time thing but just a guess. Also I can confirm SwissTool is a official reseller - I emailed Victorinox and they confirmed this for me. Happy to post the email. So in summery I am Happy Happy Happy and I am going to buy another one from him next moth :)
Having myself made an order with this company and then later found these reviews. I thought I would pass on my experience. I ordered a knife with them on Sunday ( 10th March 2013) evening. This order included personalisation. Having completed the order, I then changed my mind and wanted some extra personalisation. So, I sent them a message via the website. Come Monday morning I had had no response so I tried calling. So to my horror I find the lack of telephone number and of course these reviews. At this point I also sent an email to the sender (from one of the confirmation emails) to try and confirm they had received the change in personalisation. These emails bounced back, and I guess the message via the website suffered the same fate. The knife arrived on the following Thursday. An acceptable time for the second class delivery I selected. However the extra personalisation was absent.
Hi I have used these guys a couple of times in the past always found the service and prices great. This included shipping to Australia - when I got my last shipment a week or so after ordering. I was going to order some things end of last year and saw the 'temporarily closed/closed' messages, so did not order. Maybe there were some issues just at that time? I see those messages are gone now. Would be great to get some reviews from this year or even better some explanation from swisstool.co.uk. I am wary now - As I need to order some more stuff!!

I ordered an item for my father as a Christmas present, and like the rest of you, only read these reviews after ordering! After contacting the number given on this website several times, with no answer or response I contacted Nationwide to make a claim. Strangely, after contacting Nationwide I received an email from swisstool saying that they had FINALLY processed my order. I received my order today, and excitedly presented it to my dad, to which he asked 'who's Ben Neary?'. It seems I have received someone else's personalised order. So I'm guessing myself and Ben are both unhappy with this company. AVOID!!!
Same as below, I read bad reviews about Swisstool uk and got worried but I must say I'm very happy with them. I got a Mountaineer Blossoms, authentic Victorinox knife and limited edition cover I could not find anywhere else. Some comments may have been hasty. They said on their website that they had to close for personal circumstances in Nov / December 2012. They recently reopened (although not updated their website yet) and sent me my order from last month pretty quickly. So I would say, give them a chance!
I ordered a swisstool, 1 handed forester and leather pouch on the 8th January and have just received exactly that via international registered delivery. The only stressful part of the transaction was reading the reviews on this page which I have to say seem a little alarmist! I suspect that some people haven't had the curtesy to update their original comments, or have yet to do so. Good price and reasonable service, considering. Am about to order a swisstool + I have linked this review to facebook to prove its authenticity.
I ordered a Swiss Army Knife as a surprise for my husband after his old one was stolen when our car was broken into. The money was taken from my credit card the same day but the knife has never been sent. Despite sending a number of emails to SwissTool I have had no reply. Having seen so many similar reviews of the company on here I have filed an Action Fraud report. I guess there's a lot of us who can kiss our money goodbye! If this has happened to you report it via the Action Fraud website - it's the only way to stop these bogus companies. You can remain anonymous if you wish by calling their helpline. UPDATE 12/01/13: I have just received an email from SwissTool saying that they have been closed since 24th Nov due to unforeseen circumstances and asking if I would still like the order to be sent or if I would like a refund. As the money has already been paid to them I asked for the order to be sent by 18th Jan. I'll update again if/when it actually arrives.
I ordered a penknife for my wife for Christmas from this site on the 11th December, plenty of time you would think for their standard 5-7 day delivery. Still nothing has been received. Tried to contact them via their website, nothing. No phone number to contact. I have just raised a chargeback with my card provider as goods have not been received withing the stated time frame. I would urge anyone who has purchased and not received their goods to do the same, your card provider will give you a refund. Happy to reverse this if the pen-knife is received.

I have read some of the reviews on here and most say "didnt send out item but took money and said they were closed due to an emergency." And surprise, surprise...they are closed AGAIN!!! At first they said they would be open on December 1st so i ordered my swiss army knife thinking i had plenty of time. A week later they had updated there notices saying they were closed until further notice! However they had managed to take the money out of my bank straight away! Disgusting treatment.....beware of scam site. Read other reviews too. Wish i had been on here to start with!!!!
I placed an order for a penknife which was going to be a present for my son's birthday. Placed the order on 19.11.2012. Money was taken immediately but still no goods delivered by today 11.12.12. Have complained to my credit card company, written to Swisstool, and now tweeted about them. Tomorrow if I haven't heard from Swisstool I will be complaining to the police and reporting them for theft.
Please do not order from this comany as it is complete fraud. I didnt realise at the time of ordering as they are the first up on google and state they are a leading supplier of swiss tools. Silly me. Two weeks later and the family emergency STILL continuing (huge company, surely someone would be in the office) I started to get suspicious. In hindsight they have no phone number, reply to NO emails. Their address is a tesco express. Every person seems to have had the same issue with them. All i can say is that I am absolutely devestated as this was my boyfriends Christmas present and lets face it, it isnt going to turn up.
I ordered a swiss army knife with engraving 2 weeks ago on Monday for my husband for Christmas, and it says that it queued, and now they saying that they are closed, if i had seen this, i would not of ordered the knife. I wish that i seen the reviews first! I will always check reviews of websites i do not know before ordering! I have just recieved my item, on the 13/12/12, but i took 2 weeks to send it! I will never use this website again, i have learnt my lesson, always reviews for unknown website!
Nuff said, consider myself lucky to get 1 knife out of 2 ordered judging by what others have said , surely this is illegal? what about Trading Standards Office ? I suggest that all customers ring the number listed on another review as I finally got through and lo and behold the 2nd knife finally arrived!!!!
I ordered a personalised knife back in June 2012 for a friends birthday. Didn't turn up in time for their birthday so I went to email the company a couple of weeks later but there was a notification saying they were unable to process orders until October as the company was closed until then. Was annoyed that this hadn't been made clear before ordering and taking the money out of my account (which they did immediately) but hey ho. Waited until mid October and still no knife, emailed, no reply. Emailed 2 weeks ago, no reply. Emailed 2 days ago, no reply. Took my money, no delivery of goods, no responses, unable to get money back. They are frauds and scammers, don't go there. If I could do 0 tars I would.
6 weeks in money taken and no delivery. Wish I had seen this site before ordering. No email address or phone number.
Same is happening to me - money left my account immediately, but nearly a month in with no delivery and no response from them. Does anyone have a phone number for these people?
The knife I ordered has eventually arrived, but it took nearly two weeks. Most of the time the website was showing order status as 'queued'. Having read large number of negative reviews (unfortunately only after placing the order) I was getting concerned, emailed the company, never received a reply, tried hard to find their phone number, but no luck. As said, the knife eventually arrived, looks genuine and was slightly cheaper than elsewhere but it was not worth the stress. Would not use this company again. Lesson learned - read company reviews before shopping online!

Apr 16,2013I ordered a zippo lighter for my boyfriends birthday on the 28th march and chose the 1-3 working delivery. its now the 16th of April , so 20 days later and my delievery has not even been dispatched yet, i find it disgracefull that i have paid extra to make sure it is here on time and it hasnt even been dispatched yet! worse still there is no way of contacting them to find out whats going on. Never have i ordered something with such terrible service!
