This company is a scam. Their address in a Western Union Money Transfer Shop in London. The positive reviews listed are by the scammers. Beware!!

Basically agreeing with everyone else here, ordered a swiss army knife on the thursday (before 2pm), paid 7 odd pound for 'next day delivery' including the £50 for the knife its self! waited in friday.. nothing. emailed them that same day and got a poxy automated email saying there had been a dely, replied and got another automated email saying the exact same. so now its monday and i was waiting to ring them up (its obvious you cant get in touch) and now im worried after seeing all these reviews.. what a joke! i have well and truly learnt my lesson, always check a site for the correct contact details!!

I bought a knife with an engraving for my friends birthday. I ordered it on Monday and paid for 1st class insured post thinking it should definitely get to me by Saturday ( The night of my friends birthday ) I received an automated email on the Thursday saying that it had been despatched. I waited in all day Saturday and it didn't arrive. I sent them a polite email asking for the tracking number so I could locate it. Got no reply. Monday and still no knife. I sent them another email as by this time I had seen all the reviews on here and started to get worried. Again, no reply. I received the knife today and find it highly unlikely that they despatched it on the day they said. I know Royal mail can be a bit iffy sometimes but I have never had to wait a week for 1st class insured. If they simply emailed me back with the tracking number and an apology I wouldn't have felt the need to come on here to warn other people. A lesson to learn - Never buy from a website which doesn't have a phone number to ring, and check this site for reviews first. I will never again buy from this site. Personally, I think that they either hold very little stock or no stock. They take a load of peoples orders, take the money straight away and wait until they have enough money to place a big order with their supplier thus making it cheaper for them to buy ( I'm a purchaser for a chemical company, I know the in's and outs) . What other reason would it be why so so many people are having to wait weeks and months for their orders? Or they only send out the orders for people who complain and threaten legal action hoping there will be a percentage of people who don't complain so that they can keep their money without losing stock. I'm one of the lucky ones who received their order 10 days after placing the order ( Missing my friends birthday ) If you have any sense, don't risk placing an order with this company, only order from reputable companies who have a customer service department and a phone number. For those people who have placed an order and received no goods and no replies to email I would suggest you start a claim through the small claims court. Swiss Tool are part of the Maybe Group Ltd which I've checked on companies house and it's all legit. Get the address off of companies house and start a claim. In their terms and conditions it states that they will respond to any query within 5 days. If you have waited more than 5 days for a response and still haven't received your goods by the specified time then they are in breach of their Ts&Cs giving you a strong case for the small claims court. You can then also claim back other costs such as recorded letters and your own time.

I placed an order with this ?company on 6th April and today is the 20th and I still have not received my order. I have emailed them again and again and no response. I think this website may be a con. Thank you to the person for listing the number - I phoned that and surprise surprise went straight to answerphone but at least I now have a means of contact. I will give them another three days and if i donot have my item in my hand I will be contacting trading standards. This level of customer service is disgusting and I would say to people do not bother. They took my money quickly enough. I would be understanding if they responded to emails or called me back. I understand about delays and lost postage but no communicaton its totally unacceptable. This is now about the principal technically this is conning scam as they take the money and do not disptach the product. I expect my item within the next three days and I feel that is reasonable. I do not care if they have to send it at their expense.

OK Basically I ordered the item on 19/3/2012, it was small, the 3x tweezers/toothpick pack. £2.95, standard delivery. I started getting worried this Monday (26th March) because it still hadn't arrived. Nor on Tuesday. I was expecting it today. It still wasn't here, so I looked on this site, went 'holy c**p I've been conned'.. Then I rang the number, asked if it was 'owner of swisstool.co.uk' (wasn't going to rage at him without knowing) And he politely told me that my product had been despatched this Monday (26th) So overall, it's not great that the product was only despatched a week after ordering, however, I am happy as long as it arrives. Which should be tomorrow or Friday. So, if you are going to buy from him, either use the most expensive delivery/first class, or if you use 2nd class, give him a call on the number somewhere on this page, he should tell you if it's been despatched/whatnot, and calm your worries (hopefully)

Same saga as others - ordered a small knife £9.95 Oct'11 cost taken from card 4 days later Did not arrive so chased by emails - no response, by telephone - no reply & by recorded delivery letters - surprise, surprise - no response Approached Consumer Direct & followed their recommendations, more rec/del letters etc - still nothing ! Reported to Tradind Standards Lambeth who contacted the Company direct & still nothing T/S Lambeth gave new address in Southampton so wrote to Company there & still kept phoning Reported to T/S Southampton who contacted me saying they cannot chase an indididual case, however they had been in touch with the Company & a refund had been made !!!!!!!!! Sure enough in Feb'12 money returned to a/c I have spent more on rec/del letters etc than the cost of the knife but at least I got my refund I don't think this is 'fraud' just absolute inefficiency & complete lack of any customer care - but it ain't worth the hassle If you need to contact try - Mr Mohammad Ali Afshar Company Secretary The Maybe Group Ltd 10 Fitzroy Close SOUTHAMPTON SO16 7LW Good Luck !

When my order had not arrived after 7 days I e-mailed twice, no responce. Thanks to this site I had the phone number, spoke to chap who had my order to hand, said they had been closed for February? Any way received goods day after calling, strange way to run a business, good prices but they will not survive unless they get to grips with customer complaints.

My son ordered an item for xmas, item received was smaller than anticipated, I returned the item on 16th december, had to email this company 9 times and text and phone calls, I have only just received the refund into my account on 7th February, terrible after sales would definitely NOT be ordering from here again, way too much hassel and has probably cost me more in phone calls and texts etc - Cannot believe that they have had my money in their account for nearly 3 months, and only after perisistant emails etc did they return the funds to my account. DONT BOTHER ITS NOT WORTH THE HASSELL

ordered on christmas so did expect a bit of a delay, a month on i text the number that was left below simply saying get my order sent out and get your act together, a minute later a very polite man phoned back and is now helping find out the problem, will never order from here again the only reason the 1 staris there is due to the man helping out.

Where do I begin? We've previously ordered from this company with no hassle, however that was before. We placed an order the 25th of November 2011, for three products, two engraved, for Christmas presents. The money was taken promptly and without fault, all 85 pounds or $175 NZ dollars (our location), of it. As of the 23rd of January 2012, we've emailed, gotten angry, begged, pleaded in desperation, yet no response to any of the five e-mails we've sent. We've tried the number mentioned here with no success. All we want is our products or money back. We will try again, later in the day, later in the week, hoping and praying for a response and result. As it stands I would advise SERIOUS CAUTION in trading with this company, maybe we will be able to contact Swisstool and reach a solution. I'll let you know and change my rating and opinion of the company if I can get a solution. Any further advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

I had a bit of a faff on with these guys, I ordered on christmas eve so I was aware there would be postal issues with it being the holidays, but having chosen express delivery I worked out id get it by nye, which is when it was needed for a present. I recieved something I bought from asos on christmas eve before nye so I didnt see why there was a reason I couldnt have got the knife I ordered. I then found this website and got very worried, but rang the number as soon as i did. The man who answered was helpful, although I think it was a bit too conveinient that he said they'd only just re opened today and he was dealing with my order now. He said he was sorry I hadnt recieved it and that he'd send it with next day delivery... which i was then charged for. Oh yes and I'd also been charged twice for the same item. I rang up and he blamed me saying Id ordered it twice... if that was the case he should have sent me two? Anyway he refunded me eventually anyway. Far too much stress to deal with, wont be using the website again but it gets 2 stars because he did deal with me and also it was holiday season.

I placed an order with this company in late September and received the product promptly. For reasons that are not really relevant I wanted to return the knife for a refund or exchange to an alternate model. This is where the issues began. I was unable to follow their returns policy or even view it as this page of the website was, and still is, unavailable. I therefore packaged the product back up and wrote a letter explaining the reasons for return, order reference, address etc. and attached this to the parcel. This was on the 10th of October - and I am still awaiting a refund or alternative product. I have used their contact page on three occasions with no reply at all. Having read the other reviews I will try the provided mobile number (thanks) but on the basis of the above would not recommend this company.

Having read some of the earlier reviews I placed my order with a bit of trepidation......and requested priority delivery for a bit of "insurance" - even though the knife was for my father's Christmas present. My order of an engraved knife arrived......the next day ! As a keen shopper over the internet this is the most prompt service I have ever recieved. Brilliant.

I placed an order. It contained one item which needed to be back ordered, money was taken, and (I suspect) the order got forgotten. When I found the mobile number of the owner on this forum, I recieved my order (with one replacement item) the next day. If you are thinking of using this site, (the goods are cheap) then call 07966137310 if your order is delayed, and as others have found, you shouldn't have a problem. The person who answered the phone was polite and helpful, hence 2 stars. He claimed to be updating the site, which has e-mail problems. I suggested an e-mail address and phone number. I would probably not bother using them again until they are there. The alternative explanation is that ONLY very simple orders are fulfilled, anything requiring work isn't and only those who take the trouble to find the number to call, or otherwise complain are served - the unfulfilled orders being added to the margin of business. Up to you to decide which is which, but I suggest using Hanlon's Razor.

Late on Friday night (19th Aug 2011) I ordered a swiss champ knife, with priority engraving. I am pleased to report that the knife arrived today, Wednesday (24th Aug 2011) - signed delivery as requested and the engraving and knife are perfectly received. Considering the order wouldnt have gone through until Monday (22nd August), the knife has been engraved and posted very quickly. I would like to say, that after i had placed my order, i realised to my horror, that i had asked for too many letters to be engraved, on the side i had requested. I soon realised there was no contact telephone number on the website and i came across this site in my search for a telephone number. I wasnt feeling great after reading these! On saturday, I called the mobile number specified in previous reviews and left a message that the engraving on my order is too long and would need to be placed on the back of the knife and not the front as i had ordered. After reading these reviews, i didnt think i was ever going to receive the birthday present i had ordered anyway.... I called the mobile number again on Monday. The call was answered immediately and as soon as i said my name, the man knew why i was calling and told me that the engraving had already been done and flipped to the back, as per my voice mail! I was told the knife would be posted and would arrive with me Wed/Thur - its Wednesday and i received it today! The chap I spoke to was very professional and informative and didnt seem to mind at all that i had called him. The only reason why i havent given a rating of 5 is because there isnt a contact phone number on the website and i think its always important to be able to speak to someone when youre thinking of, or have bought something online. If there was a contact number, i wouldnt have worried unnecessarily over the weekend as i wouldnt have found this site!! Some have suggested that the good reviews on this site have been written by swisstool employees. I would like to state that i am in no way related to, or have any connection with swisstool, other than by purchasing my husbands birthday present from them, which he will love. I too have placed an order with this company. The money was taken within a day of the order having been placed. That was on the 14th/15th July. As yet I have still not received my order. The company web site has no contact number listed and emails are not replyed to. I have tried to contact the mobile number list on this site, however it just goes to an Orange answer phone. Should I receive my order I will up date this review, but until then my advise would be DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER. UPDATE: I managed to get through on the mobile number (07966137310) and even without telling them who I was he knew straight away and that he was just in the process of reading my email and replying. Well belive that if you will. However he explained that the item that I had ordered had been out of stock, but has just been received and would be packaged up and sent out today. I should receive my order by the weekend. I will update if or when I receive it, 05/08/11 Knife received today,

I ordered a personally engraved lighter in february and monies were taken immediately. To date no lighter, no response to emails or letters and no refund. Avoid like the plague.

I received my package today, all knives and beautiful engraving. I was proactive after reading this forum and rang them a few days after I ordered to check on it. After I explained that one of the knives was for a birthday present, they sent it priority mail to ensure it was here in time. I do recommend giving them a call on the number listed bellow if you get no response via email. But they certainly came through. Thankyou swisstool! Renee Perth WA

I read these reviews after I placed the order... otherwise, i think i wouldn't have ordered at all. But then, i got worried, would it be a scam??? No it wasn't, they delivered the goods to the Netherlands in 7 workdays. They didn't react to any of my mails, wich felt a bit disturbing, nor was the statusupdate switched to send/dispatched/shipped, wich wasn't really making me less worried. Conclusion, they do deliver, even within a reasonable time, but don't react to mails. Gr. Nick
