Jan 10,2023My state had initiated an audit on a return from three years ago. I had audit protection as part of my turbo tax service and was represented ably. The process was largely online, punctuated by a few phone calls. Several documents had to be uploaded for them to work with and that was it. I was kept informed of their progress, and ultimately received a letter from the state the the inquiry was being closed and no taxes were due. I was pleasantly surprised since I'd believed I actually owed some money.

Jan 06,2023IRS reversed numbers on our electronically transmitted return. Over the years we have had to use TaxAudit twice. Both times the results were in our favor. You can't do this on your own, the IRS doesn't even answer the phone on the numbers they posted on their website. Our 2nd nightmare started 4/19/2021 and was finally resolved 1/5/2023. TaxAudit stayed on top of the IRS even after multiple delay notices by the IRS. Thank goodness we had TaxAudit in our corner.

Jan 04,2023IRS sent me a letter stating I owed thousands of dollars for a past tax year. I contacted tax audit via turbotax and I didn't need to have any dealings with IRS. Taxaudit handled it all once I uploaded the letter I was sent. Taxaudit is something you hope you never need. I'm thankful I had it.
