I have booked my holiday to Turkey in August 2024 and it was the worst experience I ever had with a travel company. Although, the hotel wasn't what was advertised and sold to me by Teletext Holiday, despite paying twice the price of other guests as I discovered from the hotel itself and the guests, my experience with the company was much more worse and it started with the booking. I paid for extra bag of 22kg with my booking but when I arrived at the airport, the plane booking operators could not find the extra bag that I paid for in their system and refused to accept the receipt evidence given to me by Teletext. I ended up paying for the bag for both legs again. I contacted Teletext Holidays and after I initially spoke to the agent that made the booking and took the money for the extra bag who promised to initiate a refund, I'm yet to hear from them. My follow up emails have been ignored and after 6 months I'm still waiting a response. You would think a legitimate company would have no problem to refund if they charge twice for the same service but their behaviour has been nothing short of how fraudulent firm would behave. Be careful with booking with this lot and if you do make sure you take precautions. I'll be escalating my case to the Regulator but I feel my experience would help others so their summer holidays don't get ruined.
Booked a holiday last week. Received final confirmation today (6 days later) after numerous calls to them over the days inbetween (they took the money instantly). Spoke to numerous people at an overseas call centre who gave me different stories each time about why the confirmation hadn’t been received on the day booked. They say they will call you back which they never do. Then to top it all up, the flights details are completely wrong on what was booked and the ATOL certification missed out most flights that should be covered! Absolute shambles. Let’s hope the holiday goes to plan without any mishaps and transfers arrive, hotel is as mentioned etc. I am shocked at the ludicrous service from teletext holidays on what should have been a simple booking process turns out to be very stressful. Typos everywhere, not professional at all.

Had a query with regards to our transfers to and from the airport for our holiday to Tunisia. As we are two parties flying from two different airport we booked two transfers. The paperwork recieved initially only stated our transfers. Vijay was excellent in handling our concerns which was just a clerical error and was quickly resolved.
