Finally retired my original Terra Nova Voyager after nearly 27 years. It has served me well so bought another. Just back from my first wild camp twith the new voyager so can compare old and new. Same great design with plenty of space for 1. Not convinced by the new pole sleeves, the old model used broad webbing which made for quick pitching even in poor conditions. The new sleeves are quite tight making pitching slower. Just a concern this would show up the limitations of inner first pitching in windy or wet conditions. New pegs are way better than the original aluminium hooks which I traded out years back. The new DAC featherlight poles do what it says on the tin, c150 gram weight saving over the Easton poles. The flysheet material doesn't feel as robust as the old but so far so good. Hopefully will get a good few years from the new model and looking forward to testing its limits. It has a lot to live up to.
The walking poles are unreliable. The locking pin extendable section of the pole often retracts and causes the poles to collapse into a mess.
Zonda 4ep. Air flex pole failed on first pitch. Blew a hole. I'm so disappointed. First family camp and is just a 4 day trip to iron-out any issues. Didn't expect it to be the tent. Made in China if you couldn't have guessed. Thing was so heavy too, even more disappointed it didn't turn out to be heavy duty.
Absolute, total and utter, Chinese rubbish. Purchased a Hoolie 2 in December 2022 and used it for the first time in May 2023. Spent 4 wet days in the Langdales working. Woke up every morning to a water logged tent. When I got home, I found that all the seams has come unstuck - which is madness after 6 month of no use. Contacted Terra-Nova and they fobbed me off telling me to return it to the company that I purchased it form. No offer to fix or replace which makes me think their guarantee is pointless lip-service. The terra-nova line of tents might be better than Wild Country but I wouldn't trust either now, especially based on their customer service. Update: it's very telling that when you post a review on trust pilot, it elicits a response from terra-nova but when you email them, they are less helpful. With regards to the customer service response here - the tent was purchased 5 months ago from Go Outdoors. I have no control over how they store their products but I know that I have a) not used it at all until said trip, and b) stored it as per all my other climbing and outdoor kit i.e. in a cool, dark, dry place. If this product has failed, as you have suggested, just based on storage at Go Outdoors and 5 months in my house, then it is not fit for purpose. Additionally- you did not ask for proof of purchase but you will find that I provided it when I registered this "tent" with you. I did return it to Go Outdoors who did not have any replacements and thus I settled for a gift card refund. This in itself is not particularly helpful as I now do not want another terra-nova tent and none of their other tents meet my requirements. There overall result of this interaction is that i now have money tied up with GoOutdoors and no tent.
Quick delivery.
Clear information on my order status and delivery. I look forward to using the equipment this summer.
Great service and fast delivery, perfect,
Great experience
Very helpful
When I ordered the footprint for my Hoolie 2 ETC on a Tuesday I was warned that they were made to order & could take 3-4 weeks. To my amazement & joy it arrived on the same Saturday.
I bought my first TN quasar tent in 1994, still going strong, when I needed a spacious one man for bike packing, well, it was obvious, starlite2, I just hope I last as long as the tent!
Really happy with the service and delivery, after looking around for some time for a tent I could trust and depend on this was a no brainer. tent was well packed, and also updated on delivery even got it a day before I was expecting it. went for a hike to check weight and comfort and to set it up. Nothing missing no lose threads well and truly happy looking forward to makeing some wild camp memory's.
Considering the substantial amount it represents, it would be highly appreciated if TerraNova could at least provide more details on the custom fees to be paid by EU customers. It is a bad surprise (and would have been a 'no-go' if I had known before ordering) to discover you have to pay an extra 1/3 of the tent initial price.
The communication was great from the start. The quantity of the product is amazing. Iām very happy with my tent and it is reassuring to know that it is backed up by great customer service
Tent Footprint (April 2023) Delivered on time and packaged well. I would buy again from Terra Nova.
Rapid response customer service, delivery ahead of scheduled time and an excellent tent. Highly recommended.
Prompt service, great kit, sooo easy to put up - this is to replace my last one of these tents bought in 1991! The sun finally made the flysheet on that one brittle, otherwise I would still use it for another 30 years! If you think it might be a bight pricey, just remember how long it's going to last - a great investment :-)
Great company in my experience. Great tents, prompt replies from customer service. Was able to cancel an order with ease. Tent pole guarantee is great.
Fantastic experience would highly recommend got my northen lite 2 tent love it so much

Jun 05,2023Really disappointed. Pole missing from tent and they insisted that I ought to pay the full cost for a replacement (admittedly I had purchased the tent some time ago but it does feel as though some basic customer care was missing here). Not great.
