Apr 28,2021I had a wonderful experience in doing my PPD course from The Coaching Academy. Their quality of teaching and mentoring groups are great learning ways. The instructors are also very approachable and teach in an interactive way that keeps the student engaged. Overall a fantastic experience and will highly recommend TCA.

Apr 26,2021I learned how to run a DISC personality assessment on the Certification course in February, became absolutely fascinated by the system and immediately signed up for the Accreditation course. I have just completed the second course and am totally blown away by the additional insights I have gained. I cannot recommend this training too highly!

Apr 26,2021I have just finished the accreditation level of DISC after doing the certification courses with The Coaching Academy a few weeks ago. These are the first courses I have done with TCA and would not hesitate to recommend them. The training was very good. It was fast-moving, covered lots and was delivered in a great way, suitable for all learning types. I trained in DISC many years ago and this training was much better delivered to ensure a full understanding.

Apr 24,2021I attended the DISC Accreditation course hosted by Sharon Lawton today and anyone that is hesitant of signing up, go for it! The training will provide you with a much deeper understanding of DISC, give you ample opportunity to learn and interpret graphs and learning gained can be used to support coaching conversations, but also might help you to raise your own self-awareness. The course was well structured, interactive and engaging and I thoroughly enjoyed today. Thank you, Alex

They are consistently of a very high standard, the trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and seem to genuinely care about your learning experience. Best decision I ever made.

Apr 18,2021I attended the Career Niche Coaching day course, which I think forms a great foundation for anyone who is unfamiliar with the area. But perhaps less useful for anyone who is a bit more familiar. Sarah's delivery was really engaging (I loved the personal elements where she talked through her own journey and how she approached her own clients and used tools). Overall there was a good level of interaction. It was a bit difficult to switch on fully at the start, but once we got into breakout rooms and were able to feed back through voice as well as the chat box, I felt a lot more energised. I worried that a whole day virtually would have been taxing, but the sessions were really well paced. I would have loved a bit more than mainly focussing on clients who are looking to make a change in career, as this is just one aspect of career coaching and it didn't answer how to approach more complex topics that a client will bring to improve their current career. Personally, I felt the CV/Interview sections at the end were less valuable than other sections as it was quite basic information. Overall, I thought it was an informative and enjoyable day. I learnt some new things, and had a lot of existing learning reinforced. Out of all the tools I've taken a couple of new ones that I think I'll use with clients, and it was so helpful and really empowering to be able to talk to other coaches about their ideas and journeys! Thank you :)

Many congratulations to Sarah for offering a wonderfully structured, informative, 3 x part session where her enthusiasm, passion for the subject, knowledge and experience resulted in a highly valuable insight into this coaching specialism. Great tools, stories and question handling ensured our time was very well spent.

Apr 17,2021Attended the Career Coach Niche Workshop today. Excellent content, really practical ideas and tools that I can use with my clients. Lots of interaction and variety which is difficult to achieve with online workshops. Definitely recommend this if career coaching is your area of interest.

The online training was very well structured and I found it both inspiring and practical. I also love the extra support they provide through FB communities and monthly Coaching Conversations- they are great ways to keep you connected with likeminded people and boost your learning. Overall, I could not recommend TCA enough. I am looking forwards to more CPD sessions and masterclasses!

Mar 31,2021Kate and Mandy have absolutely blown me away, not only in their delivery of the Addictive Behaviours Coaching programme, but also in terms of the amount of work & research that has gone into it. They paced it beautifully over the 4 days, holding space for everyone. Leaving plenty of time for questions & answers. There was a great balance between theory & practical exercises. So interesting. So enjoyable. They are lovely ladies. Knowledgeable, friendly, fun, accepting. I really loved working in a smaller sized group of 12 too. It felt more intimate. As someone who has been in the 12 Step rooms the last 3 years & therefore has lots of first hand experience of Addictive Behaviours adversely affecting my life, I can see how this coaching niche can help so many people, who may have put one substance down but are now cross-addicting with other substances, or behaviours.

Apr 29,2021I first trained in NLP in 2001 and as a coach 2006 both 'in house' as part of my corporate career. But as I considered my long held ambition to become a full time coach, I thought it would be helpful to formalise my qualifications. In early 2019 I had attended TCAs 2 day foundation event and wrote down the goal of leaving corporate life and creating a lifestyle business in which I could serve others as a coach, energy practitioner and business success specialist. I thought that this would be a 5 year plan! Whilst in my leadership career I always had coaching as a central principle, the pull to escape the rat race and live a more peaceful life in the countryside with my family really crystallised for me during the first wave of COVID and lockdown. And here we are less than two years later and I have built a thriving coaching practise and relocated my family to a beautiful smallholding in rural ireland. A great testament to the power of writing your goals down (and in my case, stating them in front of a room full of supportive strangers!), if ever there was one! And a great testament to the power of that weekend back in February 2019, where I really focused in on the life I would like to have and what it might take to achieve it. I have really enjoyed my time with TCA, which has refreshed, cemented and deeply embedded much of what my early coaching and NLP training gave me and I look forward to taking further CPD and Diplomas with them as I build out my portfolio of coaching services.
