have not used gas superstore b4 but they answered all my questions by phone b4 i placed my order. also allowed me to amend my delivery day without hassle. good communication ,clear website and a pleasure to deal with . especially after the nightmare experiences with currys etc.. highly recommend!
I don't often give reviews but I have to say my experience with the gas superstore was perfect They offered next working day delivery and took away my old washing machine plus they unpacked and installed the new one all at no extra cost. Added to that the price was the best that I could find So I have say it was probably the best online experience of ordering a large item that I have ever had and would recommend them with confidence
Had issues with them taking payment, delivery times/dates and getting through on the phone to sort out the problems. Very frustrating experience, would not buy from again unfortunately even though are Leicester based as am I. I think I will stick to the major retailers from here on!
Very impressed, easy to order, with free delivery, and was delivered at the time agreed with a phone call before hand to confirm the driver was on his way. Delivery driver was really pleasant and very helpful. They also collected our old dishwasher for free which made the price even better as we didn't have to pay to have it removed or take it to the tip.
Ordering was easy, the price was competitive and delivery was on time. A good experience.
Bought an integrated fridge freezer and selected a delivery date one month in advance to suit dates of my new kitchen being fitted. Received a text the day before delivery saying my time slot the next day would be 17.10-20.10. Less than convenient on a Friday night. Even more inconvenient when you have no kitchen so are waiting to go out for dinner and you wait until 9.30pm with no phonecall to tell you they cant be bothered to delivery it and they never turned up. Phoned the next day to be told it is in stock and there is no reason it wasnt delivered. They offer mext day delivery online but said they can do me a next day delivery! Aparently it says in their t+c not to book any fitters until delivery has been made. Who does that? I would have my appliances sitting in my house waiting for weeks. Its clearly because they know your product is unlikely to reach you. Avoid at all costs, the good prices arent worth it!!
I was bit nervous about buying a cooker hood and dishwasher from them because I could not find any reviews but glad I did, the best prices I could find and excellent customer service. There was a minor hiccup with one of my items delivered but they sorted it out quickly. No issues with the delivery, on date and on time.
Price was good. Delivery was acceptable but did not arrive until 9am at night how go you get a large object unloaded in the dark without street lamps . Unpacked the unit carefully to find dent in unit -not the gas supermarket fault packaging was unmarked and the element in the fridge poorly fitted. Unable to speak with anyone at gas supermarket about it held on the phone for over 20 minutes. Advised by LEC that unit should be replaced by Gas Superstore but unable to get this done as no one will speak to us or return our Call. Totally dissatisfied with this Company will be reporting them to trading standards.
After looking at specifications and prices for a replacement washing machine this company gave the best price and item was in stock so placed the order midday and was given delivery as the next day. I received a text giving me a 4 hour time slot and the driver phoned to say when he was 30 minutes away which was in the middle of the promised time slot. The machine was duly delivered by a helpful driver who took the old machine away. I emailed asking for a purchase receipt and this was sent the next day. Having now looked at other reviews it seems people are either appalled or delighted I am pleased to say I come into the very pleased category
I wish to praise all these good people at the gas superstore in Leicester who where so kind and helpful towards me in me wishing to purchase a Tall Hotpoint freezer in Graphite when the one I ordered was discontinued I still was able to purchase the brand new one at the original price .. Nothing was too much trouble I was a nuisance for them but .. thank you soo Tracy Scott Callan Harry Amy Cerys Adam and Lawrence helping make my experience with them a good one highly recommend them all not forgetting the delivery drivers Leigh and Peter well done to all Diana H Poultney
Ordered a Hotpoint electric hob for a customer on Nov 10th. On their website it stated will be delivered in 3 to 5 days and gave me a delivery date of the coming Wednesday. The day of delivery i got a telephone call saying hob was not coming and no eta but probably would be another 5 to 7 days. After a week pased and no updates i made a complaint as my customer was without a hob and it was urgent. The reply email stated i would be telephoned the next day with either a confirmed eta or a free upgrade. This did not happen and after another 3 days of waiting i chased again I was then refused a free upgrade and told hob would still be atleast another week. I have now ordered elsewhere and the hob arrived next day and they price matched without fuss. Poor service - avoid.
This transaction was wonderful, brilliant and marvellous! I needed a slimline dishwasher and although several companies had the one I wanted the only one that said next day delivery was The Gas Superstore Ltd. I started to order online and then phoned up because I wanted to make sure it was in stock. They had 4 so I ordered it over the phone and was told it would be delivered for free the next day. I never thought to check the companies reviews until late in the evening and was dismayed to read how awful a lot of them were. However, my doorbell rang at 1.00pm the following day and at the door was a lovely friendly man asking should he take the dishwasher through to the kitchen! I was absolutely delighted. Well done all of you at Gas Superstore for a fast, efficient, stress free transaction from a very happy customer.
Harry was very helpful & answered all my questions as honestly as he could. I hope this is an indication of me receiving my fire tomorrow as promised. Will review again once my fire is received & put on my wall & in working order - fingers crossed that my next review is even better.
I tried to place an order for a microwave oven online but experienced problems. As the price was the best I could find on the internet I decided to telephone. The customer service person was charming and very helpful. Having placed the order he then advised me that it would be delivered the next day. True to the promise the oven arrived in less than 24 hours after placing the order. The oven is now in operation. A truly five star service. Thank you
There is no doubt that the prices offered by Gas Superstore are excellent, but that is probably where the positives end. Ordered cooker on 11th Oct by phone as the online ordering system wouldn't give the promised discount, no problem, these things happen. Cooker was not in stock, so was given a delivery of a week commencing date, a week away. By the Monday had heard nothing so rang, waited half an hour listening to music and a repeated message claiming how important customer service is to GSS. (That message should be changed to "Forget customer service, we don't give a toss!"). Eventually spoke to a charming lady who told me that my cooker was not yet in stock, took my number and said she would ring me back with delivery info. That call never came. Sent several emails over the next week, with no reply to any of them. 9th Nov received email saying cooker in stock and to ring number to arrange delivery, which we did. Later received a call to say that it wouldn't be the arranged date and arranged another date. From there back to excellent, delivery day communication great, driver great, cooker great. GSS need to understand that people will "happily" accept being let down if they are kept informed. If they say they will ring back, ring back, even if it is bad news. We will be surprisingly forgiving, especially for the great price!
Delivery said 10nov between 7-7 got to 7.30 I thought they were not coming but heyho yes they came very pleased and the fire was a great price 10 out of 10
From the sales person who went out of their way to find the information I requires, prior to placing my order, to the delivery person who telephoned me to advise he was just under an hour away from arriving to make the delivery, a thank you for your excellent service.
Hotpoint cooker ordered 6 days ago - only phoned night before scheduled delivery to be informed not in stock (manufacturers fault apparently). We now have no cooker. Terrible customer service - we asked for alternative product and were offered a substandard brand and informed no other suitable products in stock! No upgrade offered. Refund offered and told could take up to 5 days to process with the banks. Why still taking people's money for these items when they cant guarantee they will be able to deliver them? Beyond disappointed with the conduct of this 'family' company. Yes manufacturers let suppliers down but the poor attitude, blocked up phone lines and failure to resolve the problem is why we will never use this company again. Timewasters and money grabbers. May be cheap prices but think very carefully before placing an order with this company!
Purchased a Hotpoint Condensing Tumble Dryer online on 12 October 2016- and still awaiting on delivery. Due to your non-delivery of this item (twice). You have failed to deliver on 18/10/2016 when you called before hand to re-schedule for the 3/11/2016 (which at the time, I informed you that if you do not deliver that I will cancel the order). You now also missed this deliver, and have failed to notify me of such. In my conversations with your customer service person 'Carl' on 4/11/16 at 11:04 and 11:54 today, he has failed to account for why this delivery has failed and yourselves haven't notified me or to now provide a full refund- when it is clearly you cannot delivery the item. I ask for a full refund. apparently only supervisor can do. 'carl' promise to get this actioned and call back- nothing done!. Sent an email quoting my consumer rights and demanding a full refund to your customer service and also your sales email address- No response or even acknowledgement - so now a simple matter is causing so much frustration and stress. Based on your non-delivery of this item, you have prevent me from acquiring this item from somewhere else at a similar price and now the cost of the item has now been increased so I can no longer get this item at this price. I have also been inconvenienced by having the baby sitter wait for the delivery, which I also mentioned in your phone call to me- twice to change the delivery times. we have a young baby and this item was intended to provide drying of his clothes due to the changing of the weather. Your failure to honour this agreement has severely affected us.
