ordered a Taco maker (order number 142773) but no luck after trying to call them a number of times over the last 3 months. I left a number of emails but the only reply i had was over a month ago saying the items will be with me shortly but nothing since then

Ordered a dualit toaster for £158 last autumn, no product and no replies.... Fraudulent individuals are clearly behind this ‘front’ taking peoples money and they don’t respond at all. Robert Symes you are a crook

Order 142172 placed on 10th March for £62.77 which included express delivery. No delivery and no refund 4 months on. Phones not answered, one email only replied too stating would sort delivery. With the amount of reviews saying the same thing I am not convinced it is poor trading more like a criminal offence of obtaining money by deception. Found a better supplier now. Not giving up on options to get my money back.

Absolute scam. Ordered over 2 months ago - took my money but still no products. Will not reply to emails and can not get in touch with them. Do not buy from this company.

I wish I could put zero stars. They sent the wrong items, I sent over a million emails, left voice messages, nothing. Are you kidding me? it's been 6 weeks. I want my money back. do not order anything from them. Worth paying a bit more but to use a reliable distributor. I understand with the covid situation things are slower but this is taking the p**s

I ordered two De Buyer frying pan's from PubShop, one a 28cm and the other a 32cm, they arrived today by Parcel Force, upon opening I found that the 28cm pan was perfect, it was in a factory sealed box and inside this the pan was sealed with a nylon closure inside a plastic bag and was as expected. The second box was damaged on the front and also the factory seal was broken and the box was held closed by three bands of wide selotape, upon opening the box the pan was in the original (but open) plastic bag with the nylon closure broken and inside the pan, and horror of horrors, a big black burn mark in the centre of the pan together with scratches obviously caused when cooking in it, turning the pan over revealed a well used pan, obviously used on a gas ring given the type of burn marking. A telephone call to both the sales and customer service extensions fobbed me off with the message to email them, nothing as yet has come back but I am very concerned to note that what I have been sent for my money is a returned, for whatever reason frying pan, and the box damage should have clearly identified that to whoever packed it in the post to me, basically I have been sold a pup. This is the first dealing I have had with this company and I had intended to place a further order upon receipt of this one, but that will now certainly not happen, and I expect a positive response to both of the emails that I have sent to Pub Shop or I am afraid I shall go down the official route to take the company to task for false trading of a product and being charged at new prices, had I wished to have second hand then I would have looked at Ebay!! My advice, given this is my first, and may I say last experience of trading with this company is. "Buyer Beware!!" INTERIM UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS COMMENTS: Since the review above I have received a telephone communication from Rob at the Pubshop, who after my having explained my absolute disappointment at receiving a clearly badly used frying pan in the post instead of a brand new one as ordered, he explained that he too was disappointed at being let down by his suppliers and that he was also shocked at my description of the frying pan that I had received. In all fairness to Rob, not only was he sympathetic to my dilemma he was also anxious to make immediate amends to my situation and I am to this end to repackage the frying pan and then arrangements will be put in hand to have the frying pan collected from my home at no expense to me, furthermore at the earliest opportunity he will contact the suppliers to ensure that by the latest on Wednesday I will receive my new frying pan as originally ordered. Having been somewhat scathing in my initial review, I now feel that given the obvious disappointment expressed by Rob in his telephone call and the general conversation that followed, the speed of the response was quite surprising and I therefore feel that given that all that can possibly be done, is being placed in hand to resolve my issues at the earliest opportunity and with the minimum amount of inconvenience to me, it is only fair that I offer an interim update to my previous review. As and when I have received my new frying pan I will give a further update, in order to set the record straight in terms of my original comments relating to this company.

Rob, Has just called on receipt of this review. I have had a long chat with him where he has explained the situation. I'm taking him at his word as he did sound very sorry and is resending as we speak. I was very upset with the situation as my below review explains. However in talking to him I do genuinely believe the last few months have been very tough he is working all hours to get things back on track with very limited staff . I do hope my earlier review has not done too much damage as I to run an online business and understand that sometimes things don't go to plan. Paul Viant. These guys are crooks, and I'm on their case. They are going to regret what they are doing. Ordered some plates ,waited an age and eventually they turned up. The wrong ones. I have had one email and then nothing. this is over 5 weeks ago. They take orders with obviously no stock and may honour the odd one. Beware if you look into similar catering companies most have the same reviews. Maybe they are all owned by the same person and trading under different names. We will see in time. Any good review has obviously being placed by them!!.

Their customer service is non-existent. I've had three patio sets gone missing/not delivered and despite emailing their customer service four times, not once have I had a reply or acknowledgement. If you phone them the voice mail just fobs-you-off back to the pointless email approach. Buy from a reputable company like Nisbets instead.

Avoid these people at all costs. They took payment then never delivered. They refuse to respond to email or phone. I should have read the reviews first. They really are nothing more than crooks!

I ordered a table from this company on 27 April and it arrived yesterday (18 May) took a bit longer than anticipated but think it was due to delays at ParcelForce. Delighted with the quality of the table and it was very well packaged so no damage. Did have reservations about whether my order would arrive after reading a previous review but found Pubshops customer service to be very helpful. Would use this company again.

I wish I had read the reviews before i parted with my money. Very unprofessional, and good luck with getting a response. I ordered some takeaway packaging from them on the 26th of May, not only did they double charge me, but I have not yet received my product. Ive only ever received 1 response from this company to state they have refunded one of the payments which was made in error. I am emailing them daily for an update on the product and even trying to get a refund, but absolutely no response. Not sure what actions I can take other than contact the FOS. Im giving 2 stars only because they were courteous to refund me back one of the payments.

Never in my life have I taken the time to leave a review for any of the hundreds of companies I’ve used in the past. Hopefully that goes to show (along with the hundreds/thousands of other dissatisfied customers) how disappointed I am. There’s no excuse for the poor customer service/the fact they haven’t sent my item. I appreciate times are difficult, but like thousands of other businesses who have suspended trading, don’t take my money if you can’t deliver the items I’ve paid for! Or refund me if you now can’t deliver them. Or email me back. Or answer a call. I’ve included my order number incase you want to discuss with me - luckily I paid by credit card so will be reporting this as fraud to get a refund.

After my last review, Rob from The Pub Shop called me. He is struggling with no staff and he is trying to deal with calls, emails and posting items on his own. He told me that my parcel would go out with parcel force and that is would arrive on Monday. It’s actually arrived today, two days early. The quality of the Product I bought is outstanding and it did not put a massive dent in my pocket. When you read all the reviews, you would never buy from this company. However, when speaking to Rob and understanding his struggles, he needs support. Do trust him, as he will deliver the goods in the end and they are good quality products.

If I could give 0 stars then I would!! Seriously stay clear of this company, they are a very shady outlet. I ordered a pan, didn't receive an order confirmation (although they took payment). After some badgering via email and threats to contact trading standards they eventually responded saying they were very busy. After a long while my pan finally arrived. Now after having issues with the pan base warping I have made numerous attempts to contact them to no avail. Their phone number is not on even on their website, but someone has added it to the bottom of this page thankfully. Stay well clear of this cowboy outfit and shop with someone like nisbets who I would very highly recommend for their customer service having called them recently for something.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Absolutely shocking ‘service’. Waited over 6 weeks for my order, nothing came. I emailed, they were ignored. Tried calling, straight to answerphone. When I eventually spoke to someone I was told they would ‘look into it and come straight back to me’ needless to say they didn’t. Eventually got my order but would NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN
