Mar 23,2017We have always found TransIndus extremely knowledgeable and helpful in planning our visits to India. They have always given us excellent advice, booked our various transport, found excellent hotels, but most important of all have provided us with really exemplary contacts in every place we visited; we were always met and guided to our next destination. In Calcutta and in Chandigarh we had informative and knowledgeable escorts who improved our enjoyment of the cities we were visiting. I cannot recommend TransIndus too highly and I would not dream of travelling to India without their superb organisation.

In fact, each trip has far exceeded our expectations. They really take into account one's interests, likes and dislikes and come up with a package that is always much more interesting and exciting than anything you might have planned yourself.

Mar 23,2017I was a 3rd Officer on a cargo ship in 1971 when my wife and I visited Colombo. We were there for 3 weeks and because of political problems at the time there was a curfew although we did manage to visit Kandy using a local taxi. We returned in 2017 and as we had used Transindus for a Kerala and Tamil Nadu tour the previous year and we decided to use them again. They gave us lots of flexibility in planning our 16 day tour and an excellent choice of hotels. Our trip was with a guide/drive, Lalith, who was not only very knowledgeable of all the visits to temples and palaces etc. but had a passion for bird watching. And with all those birds in glorious colours we shared his enthusiasm. The trip went like clockwork the timing worked out perfectly with plenty to see along the way in our 7 transfers from Colombo to Colombo via Kerungela, Habarana, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle and Bentota.

Mar 23,2017From the pre-trip itinerary to the trip itself, everything was organised so well that we hardly needed to think as it was all done for us! We were met at the airport in Delhi and thus started our wonderful Golden Triangle trip taking in first rate hotels, fabulous destinations, plentiful food (and bottled water) and a guide who made the whole journey such a treat. We were a small tour of 8 people and were taken around in a minibus with our dedicated guide, driver and busboy and we all could not fault any of them. It was so good to know that everything had been planned by Transindus so well and that our every need would be taken care of.

Mar 22,2017Our trip to Borneo was very smoothly handled. We had done some research and found that travelling on a certain date got us a good flight offer. TransIndus incorporated this request and its price into our tailor made trip no problem. The itinerary pouch we got was reasonably compact for travel and had all we needed. When in Borneo, the trip ran smoothly. All flight connections worked well. Would definitely recommend. We went in July when it was on the humid side.

Mar 22,2017The start of our trip was exactly as we had hoped for but regrettably when we got to Vietnam things started to deteriorate. We said all along we accept that occasionally things do go wrong but it is how the company deals with this that we judge them on. Whilst out there we fought for what we had booked and thankfully received it. We advised Transindus in London but was very disappointed with there response it very much felt like "thank you for bringing this to our attention but you now have what you booked so we will take no action". I sent a 3 page letter when we got back but received no acknowledgment and it was only when I chased the company, after 2 weeks, that I received any form of confirmation that an investigation had in fact been initiated. We were finally offered compensation which we accepted but would much rather have had a totally perfect trip. This was in addition to the company paying for a candle lit dinner after there were problems with our initial booking, perhaps that should have been an omen!! Feel sure we will not be using TransIndus again

The accommodation and food were excellent, the flights and transfers between airports, hotels and game parks comfortable and on time, the viewing of wildlife in Bhandavgarh, Kanha and Pench superb, and the cost very reasonable.

Mar 22,2017We had a 12 day tour by car with a driver through Kerala. At each location we were met by a guide to experience all the wonders the area has to offer. We embraced every opportunity offered. All accommodation was very good, in a good location. Everything ran smoothly. The highlights were too many to mention but to name a couple, birdwatching in Thattekad and watching wild elephants in Perryar. We would love to take this trip again and plan to do so later in the year

I cannot imagine we could have had a better service for what we paid; they certainly know India and how to prepare suitable itineraries and work with great people in India which is so important.

Mar 04,2017We had a tailor made trip to Kerala including two days at Fragant nature Hotel in Kochi followed by two nights on a house boat. The whole trip from Airport to various transfers and tours was seamless and minimised the stress of traveling in what can sometimes be a chaotic and noisy country. The hotel was chosen by Transindus and exuded charm and luxury, It's a new hotel and in a couple of years will be the place to stay. We did the sunset cruise which helped orientate us with Kochi. The following day we had a half day tour of Kochi and our guide Shahji was engaging, knowledgable and informative as well as extremely patient with my many questions. The houseboats were tranquil and exceeded my expectations. The three staff were attentive and made us feel special. The restrictions on alcohol did take the spark out of the evenings though we had taken a couple of bottles of beer. I would suggest an optional two hour lunch break at a local resort for a swim and picnic or a dusk nature walk as we wanted to stretch our legs following the generous meals. Arguably the best vegetarian food we have eaten. A special mention for our driver Ronny who was passionate about birds and trees and had a wealth of knowledge and information. More than willing to use TransIndus again.

Mar 23,2017Good itinary, well presented. Flights changed but not warned of a route change that added another three hours to flight. Hotel change at last minute. Local agent very poor with no communication with Transindus causing us problems. Probably would not use again
