Aug 09,2024I strongly urge potential clients to be cautious. Do not place your trust in Turnbull Law Group. It is far more effective to negotiate directly with your creditors than to engage with Turnbull Law Group. They do not deserve even a single star. This experience has caused me unnecessary stress, anxiety, and sleepless nights as I came to realize just how much they were taking from me under the guise of “helping.” Where do I even begin with Turnbull Law Group? From the outset, I fell victim to their aggressive sales tactics. I enrolled two loans from Lending Club through their services, despite never having missed a payment in my life to any creditors My initial motivation was to address what I perceived as overcharges by Lending Club. After paying $22,000 on a $37,500 loan, I was shocked to find that I still owed $34,000. The second loan was for $10,000. Seeking relief, I turned to Turnbull Law Group. They addressed the second loan first, which was originally for $10,000. I had already paid Lending Club 75% of that amount, yet I still owed $6,500. Turnbull negotiated this down to $3,550. At first, this seemed like a favorable outcome. However, after paying Turnbull $3,075 over three months, they only made a payment of $150 toward my loan. The remaining funds were absorbed as fees, leaving me with a balance of $3,400 still owed on that loan. This raises a critical question: where was the benefit to me in this arrangement? Industry standards for debt reduction typically range between 30% to 45%, yet Turnbull settled my debt at 53%. This is a figure I could have easily negotiated on my own, thereby saving myself $1,800 in fees. My stress escalated as I realized that Turnbull Law Group was profiting from my financial difficulties rather than alleviating them. The so-called “25% fee” for settling my debt is misleading. Let’s break down the math: - The original debt enrolled was $6,500, and they settled it for $3,500—a reduction of 53%. - If they saved me $3,000 through negotiation, a 25% fee should equate to $750, not $1,875. - Even if you calculate 25% of the reduced amount ($3,500), it should only amount to $875. - Considering the original balance of $6,500, even with 25% fees, the figure should only be $1,650. So, where exactly are these excessive fees coming from? It's incredibly frustrating to witness an organization taking advantage of vulnerable clients. Turnbull Law Group appears to prioritize their fees over genuinely addressing the debts of their clients. Despite paying them for three months, they did virtually nothing until they finally began making minimal payments to my creditors. Overall, it feels as though they’ve taken my money without providing any real service. please beware. Subject: Concerns Regarding My Account and Fees Dear Turnbull Law Group, Thank you for your response, but I must express my serious concerns regarding the handling of my account. I have paid Turnbull Law Group $3,075 over the past three months. As of today, August 9, 2024, only $150 of that amount has been paid to my creditor. This should leave a balance of $2,925 in my account. However, there is only $946 remaining. This discrepancy means that $1,979 of my money is unaccounted for. Furthermore, I have been placed on a payment plan requiring 25 payments of $120 each, totaling $3,000. Adding this $3,000 to the remaining balance of $946, I would be paying $3,946 to settle a debt of $3,470. This raises the question: where is the remaining $476 going? It seems that Turnbull Law Group has not only taken $1,979 from me already but plans to take an additional $476, totaling $2,455. When I inquired about this, your agent mentioned that any extra money would be returned to me at the end of the process. However, I believe that this situation should never have arisen in the first place. In total, I will have paid $6,075, consisting of the $3,075 already paid and $3,000 for the remaining payment plan. This leaves me questioning how Turnbull Law Group has genuinely helped me. It appears that instead of aiding in settling my debt, you have significantly enriched yourselves at my expense. This is both unfair and unethical. I urge you to rectify this situation immediately.

Everything has worked on time, and the one time things were confused, they worked on it persistently to get it fixed. I would recommend Turnbull to anyone, actually really have, just don't know if they came to them.

Jul 26,2024I have been with Turnbull for almost 2 months, and so far they have been good to me and keeping me informed and a trustworthy company/program. I see exactly where negotiations are with the client dashboard. Most recently I called in to add a new debt and they told me the process, that I needed to attach a statement and after I did, they quickly reviewed the statement document, calculated my new monthly deposit and had me e-sign the changes. The intake process is also very thorough. When I first reached out to them, I was on the phone talking thorough all the details for an hour and half and were transparent about everything and not just the good stuff. There are going to be creditors that are calling you and your credit score will go down for awhile, but if you are up to your ears in debt, this is a surefire way to reduce and make manageable payments towards it until it's paid off and then your credit score will be better than ever. I highly recommend Turnbull!

Jul 16,2024In the beginning it was great. They settled two of my 5 enrolled account rather quickly. I sent over a legal notice for one of my accounts on June 6 and called to follow up a few days later. I was given the name of my attorney assigned to the case and was told to expect an email or phone call. Days passed and NOTHING! I called customer service probably 5 times and each time I call, I get the same response. A response was due today for my legal issue. Just today I finally got an email of the attorney assigned to my case, emailed twice and NOTHING! I am seriously considering dropping the program. I dont know how to get this issue resolved! UPDATE= Finally after over a month of calls, I finally got resolution to my problem and received a phone call from a different attorney. HUGE HUGE thanks to Customer Service Representative Leanna!! She has been a huge help to ensure that the problem was resolved. she honestly seems to care. So grateful for her!! Because of her, I am changing my rating from two stars to four stars.

Aug 11,2024WHEN I FIRST STARTED WITH TURNBULLS I WAS HESITANT FOR DOING THIS. I NEVER HEARD A NEGATIVE THING ABOUT MY DEBT. VERY POSITIVE.I WILL ADMIT IT TAKES TIME TO DO THIS BUT IT IS WORTH DOING. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO ME IS NOW I CAN SLEEP AT NIGHT NOT WORRYING ABOUT IT.PLEASE IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT DOING THIS THEN DO IT. I DID & SLOWLY I AM GETTING MY DEBT DOWN.
