I filed a claim and the customer support was from centricity. He's unprofessional blaming me for the damage. But it's accidental coverage so not sure why that matters. They are clearly trying to get out of paying anything for warranties.
*Second Update (02/17/24) - Upsie is now disputing these reviews saying "we have nothing to do with your contracts anymore, call [redacted]!". My contract says UPSIE all over it, and I have received ZERO emails or correspondence from anyone saying there's been a change (except, suspiciously, UPSIE via this trust pilot website). This, folks, is a good old-fashioned scam. While manufacturer service plans are more expensive, it seems they are more trustworthy than this. Want my review to go away? Then refund my money. I'd call, but you don't answer phones or respond to email. *Update - I have found multiple posts from employees of Upsie on LinkedIn confirming they have closed. Glad they swindled me out of $200. Scumbags. Not looking good. I paid several hundred dollars for a warranty for my new washer and dryer. 2 years into my 5 year plan, I need service. I have requested it several times in the past week, and have also tried to contact customer service - haven't heard a peep from anyone. Looks like others are having the same problem. Also, I checked on BBB, and they are showing as "profile being updated". Ugh.
Take too much time to have a claim successfully. Always they can't find the contract numbers, take around 48 hours for every action. To have a cellphone repair, which is essential, it took more than 8 business days to have the claim successfully. I don't recommend it.
Great price easy to sign up and great follow up
Great service. Easy to enroll. Low monthly payments. Coverage for 4 years.
My son's IPhone 13 Pro, less than 1 year old, took water into the charging port and couldn't charge with a cable anymore. Everything else worked fine. He was able to charge, wirelessly. Started the Upsie Claim on a Thursday and had no problem getting thru to a live agent who gave me a case number. Gave us the option to go to an Upsie certified repair shop or Apple genius bar. Took phone into Apple store the next day and Apple said , phone could not be repaired due to water damage. Gave that information and official Apple diagnosis to Upsie on Saturday AM. At that point the rep from Upsie said , they need for the claim department to come to a resolution on what next would be done. By Tuesday, I called a few times with Upsie and always got thru very quickly to a rep, they asked some exact info on the model type, memory, etc. and said claims needed that info to make an decision. Tuesday, I was informed that they would either send me a replacement or they made a cash offer of $699. I took the cash offer and thought that was fair. I believe my 2 year policy had a $149 deductible for replacement. Had the cash into my account on Thursday via Zelle. All in all, I thought the process was pretty smooth and it was always easy to reach an Upsie rep. I think they did not nickle and dime me and gave me a very fair cash value for the almost 1 year old phone. Important to note. My son's phone was able to be charged via wirelessly so the extra days for them to complete my case, was okay. I think Upsie handled it very well and I am very satisfied with how this went. Their insurance is SO much cheaper than Apple or a carrier insurance plan, and it was handled well, in my opintion
The online process was straightforward and easy to complete and activate.
Slow approval process
Liked the simplicity of the service and ease of sign up.
The process of applying was straightforward and once I uploaded my purchase receipt, the application quickly was approved and the policy active for my Fitbit Sense.
Found Upsie thru AAA. The process was painless. Had recently purchased a new phone. My carrier insurance was very expensive. I was able to get better coverage for half the price. Will use Upsie for every new device my family purchases!
Easy set up but has a 90 day waiting period, which I understand but leaves me exposed to total loss.
Very nice and patient
Easy to do. I would have preferred to pay for the year and not have to do a monthly payment. The last time I used your plan I could pay by the year.
Thank for insuring my phone.and for your great price.
Haven’t had to actually use an Upsie warranty yet, but we’ve purchased multiple Upsie warranties in the past. Not a huge fan of the shift to a subscription model, but it’s still a great deal for the coverage you’re getting. We’re insuring two iPhone 14 Pros for less than what the carrier wants to ensure one and the benefits are better. Very hard to beat the premium and benefits of an Upsie warranty.
The 50% discount off of the monthly price for the first month was awesome. I mean the monthly fee for phone insurance is already much lower than ALL the major carriers, so even without the first month discount I would have still purchased my phone insurance from Upsie
I have two phones already covered by Upsie, and when I got my wife a Pixel watch the carrier wanted to add protection, I told them NO, I am getting mine covered by Upsie! I haven't had to file any claims, so I can't vouch for the service, but the pricing and easy sign-up are the best I have found.
I’ve been using Upsie now for about 2 years. Adding a plan is easy and everything is explained in great detail. I haven’t had to make a claim yet but I’m sure it will be a simple process. The monthly premium is affordable and if there is a deductible it is lower than any of the other plans I’ve had in the past and Upsie covers much more.

Nov 29,2023I paid for the five year warranty for my peloton tread after having so many people recommend using Upsie over Peloton’s extended warranty. The tread is having an electrical issue and when I submitted a claim, it was denied, and the customer service rep was extremely short and rude, tried to dismiss me and just end the call when I had follow questions and couldn’t tell me WHY it was denied except that he said “it wasn’t electrical” when it absolutely is. I’m so disappointed in this company. Don’t waste your money and just buy Peloton’s extended warranty.
