The centre is extremely clean and the staff are very polite and informative
I went to the Glasgow Veincentre on 30th October 2024 for a consultation about a severe and painful ulcer on my right leg. The doctor I saw had what seemed up-to-date diagnostic equipment, carried out ABPI and ultra-sound examinations, and a very thorough and professional enquiry into my health and past history. He was friendly, sympathetic, honest and reassuring. Any qualms I had about seeking private medical advice were banished by his honest assessment that my basic trouble was due to severe arterial insufficiency, and not to venous insufficiency as had previously been assumed. He therefore advised referral to the NHS Vascular Surgery department at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, wrote a detailed and specific report to enable my Edinburgh GP to make this referral, and did all he could to facilitate and hasten the necessary treatment. He was honest and explicit that the treatments Veincentre offer are not appropriate for this particular problem - but he certainly reassured me that if I ever do need their treatment for venous insufficiency, it will make good sense to go to them. His supporting staff, a nurse and a receptionist/ general assistant, were likewise friendly, reassuring and professionally competent. The only shortcoming was in the quality of the typing of his report, which required so much correction as to delay matters for an extra day or two. I am now on the ERI's urgent waiting list, and hoping to be called for an appointment by the end of the year. Marion Ralls
I attended the Liverpool clinic and was treated by Dr Kakani. He is very straight forward and honest I thought. He and the nurse assisting him made me feel at ease. He is very calm and knowledgeable. I had no concerns about his ability to carry out my treatment. I knew what to expect having had treatment in the Manchester clinic twice before. Although I had good results previously, over 4 years more varicose appeared and I decided to have them treated. I chose Veincentre again. Although I knew what to expect Dr Kakani reassured me throughout the procedure. Asking me if I was in any pain. I did ask Veincentre if they would consider giving me some sort of loyalty discount given my previous treatments. I was disappointed when they said NO. Overall I'm pleased with my treatment so far. I have my follow up appointment in 6 weeks. Looking forward to seeing the results. Although I am aware that it can take several months for bruising or staining to subside.
All staff were very professional, friendly, and helpful.Having felt a bit nervous before procedure i was made to feel at ease by Dr Gordon and his lovely nusing assistant.I would happily recommend this clinic to family ,friends or anyone needing treatment
The whole staff team are lovely welcoming and very professional! I was very anxious about having the procedure but Sarah and the nurse reassured me and completely put my mind at ease. Would definitely recommend the vein centre to a friend.
The actual procedure was fairly pain free and the nurse and consultant were professional, and calming, however after my second procedure not all of my veins have gone in the more obvious area after 6weeks. I will call and see if a 3rd round is covered in my £3000.
Had my first consultation at the Glasgow vein centre and i was put at ease straight away, the doctor talked me through everything and agreed on what treatment i would need laser treatment, the date was set for my treatment soon after, On the day of my treatment again doctor went through everything again and started the procedure, I won’t lie it was painful but a pain that would come and go as it doesn’t last to long, the nurse was fantastic throughout the procedure we played music of my choice 80s music and enjoyed guessing the year and having a good laugh to, it was over and done with quite quickly, Follow up check up went well and I didn’t need any more treatment i am glad to say, had some bruising for a while but it faded away and the end result was fantastic no more big blue bulky veins, i am so happy I can finally show off my legs. Can’t thank Glasgow Vein centre for everything they have done, all staff are so welcoming, friendly and supportive, I definitely recommend them just wish i had gotten this done years ago, it has given me so much more confidence.
Professional staff in all departments gave me confidence that I was doing the right thing
I recently had my EVLA, avulsions & foam treatment at the Sheffield Vein centre by Dr Mark Regi. After wanting this treatment for years and finally going for it I can honestly say I am so pleased I did! I was really nervous before I went in for my procedure but both Dr Regi and the nurse put me at ease throughout the whole process. They both took good care of me after the procedure & gave me brilliant aftercare advice. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service the veincentre provide and I would recommend them to other people I know. I can’t wait to see the results but I know that my confidence will be resorted when I do and I’m looking forward to my follow up treatment. I have full faith that I will be back confident in summer dresses by the summer and I am so pleased I finally took the plunge and had my veins treated. I couldn’t be more grateful 🙏
Great professional and friendly service.Right from the beginning they kept me informed and reassured about every stage of the treatment. Dr Daniel Ablett put me at ease and explained everything to me as he carried out the procedure. I would definitely recommend going to the Edinburgh Vein Centre if you have any problems with your veins.
EVLA procedure for me was very painful. I started work three days later and it was nightmare for two weeks. Naw almost two months after procedure my legs still hurts a lot. I hope one day it's finish and I can leave my normal life. The result is not visible yet so I don't know what to say. Doctor Thoraya and nurse Kim are professional and kind.
The staff put me at ease The director undertaking the process was knowledgable, accurate and worked quickly.
Can't reccomend highly enough. Lovely staff excellent service.
Professional and caring, from beginning to end.
I’ve just finished having my Varicose Veins treated at the Veincentre in Gloucester. I had EVLA 7 weeks ago to both legs and foam sclerotherapy today. I have received fantastic treatment from Dr Vishwanath and Liz (Nurse) and I am very pleased with the results. I found the whole experience very positive and I would highly recommend. Thanks also to Luke (clinic administrator) for a very efficient and friendly service.
Exceptional treatment and aftercare by dedicated and highly experienced medical professionals.
The quality of service from reception to nursing and all the way up to Dr. Nung R. @T. Wells clinic. Exceptional work and very well explained throughout. Amazing team, giving patients like me a great experience & results. Thank you ❤️
Always very welcoming and made to feel at ease. Very good service by all concerned. Dr Krishnan has done a great job with my legs. I can wear shorts again!!!
From when I made the appointment on the phone to being at the clinic in Chester, all the staff were lovely and made me feel at ease. They explain everything and answer any questions. Treatment was fully explained and as he did the treatment Dr Ananth Krishnan was down to earth, talking through the procedure. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending to anyone who needed varicose vein treatment.

Dec 03,2024The surgery was professional and considerate. However, recuperation time was not accurate. I was unable to work for two weeks due to pain after surgery.
