As stories often go, our stay echoed a blend of warmth, luxury, and a few logistical hiccups. Central Hub: The Living Room/Kitchen The living room and kitchen were the heartbeat of the house, pulsating with the energy of our family. The ample square footage catered perfectly to our needs, serving as our main gathering space. This open-concept area allowed simultaneous activities, from intimate chats to the rustle of shared meals. It wasn’t just a space—it was where memories crystallized. A Luxurious Necessity: Private Bathrooms A significant upside was the private bathrooms accompanying most rooms. This feature, while subtle, proved invaluable. Large groups often grapple with morning chaos; these individual bathrooms alleviated potential bottlenecks. Everyone had their slice of privacy, adding an element of luxury to our days. Parking Puzzles Our primary challenge lay in the realm of parking. The property’s five-car limitation was a curveball. Precious family moments were swapped for shuttling runs to the clubhouse, our makeshift parking solution. The caveat? Cars needed to be offsite by 11 pm, requiring a trek to a public lot. An attempt to circumvent this, by parking an extra car street-side (following the clubhouse’s advice), led to an unexpected rendezvous with a Sheriff’s deputy. An unforeseen obstacle, parking turned into our stay’s most prominent logistical dance. Elevated Aesthetics Visually, the property was a delight. The high ceilings breathed life and spaciousness into our surroundings, offering an expansive feeling that made our stay even more special. Complementing this were the gleaming white tiles, effortlessly infusing modern elegance. Their cool touch, especially during sun-drenched afternoons, was a subtle pleasure. Outdoor Escapades: The Pool and Patio Beyond the indoors, the pool and patio area were our sanctuaries of relaxation and fun. Be it the refreshing dips, the adjacent shower (with its considerate hot and cold water plumbing), or sun-soaked lounging, this space was central to our daily activities. A grill awaited culinary adventures, though its grease traps hinted at wear and a need for maintenance. Still, with a plethora of chairs and loungers, the outdoor area was a haven of relaxation and familial bonding. Reflections In totality, our experience at this property was multifaceted. The living spaces, both indoor and outdoor, enriched our stay, turning simple moments into cherished memories. The private bathrooms, an unsung luxury, added a layer of ease to our daily routines. Conversely, the parking challenges, while unexpected, taught us the art of adaptability and patience. Would we consider returning? Possibly, with a revamped parking plan. Regardless, the moments—both sweet and challenging—crafted during our stay are now treasured fragments of our family’s story.

Sep 08,2023Our stay here was okay. I loved the property although it could have been cleaned better. The sheets in most of the rooms were dirty. We tried washing them but because some of the sheets were soiled with blood that had sat there, those stains did not come out and still had blood on them. We complained and they sent someone out with clean sheets but they didn’t bring enough because they said that management only allots them a certain amount. I thought that was strange. In any case the children had fun with the pool, the game room and the indoor playground on the second floor.

Aug 25,2023Wonderfully large home for our extended multi-generational family. The kids loved the amenities (pool, community center with activities, game rooms, and specialty bedrooms). A few issues with appliances and noisy neighbors but overall definitely worth the price.

Aug 24,2023Our recent weeklong stay at 1588 Nassau Point Trail Kissimmee, FL in the Solara Resort was very good. Our party of 9 enjoyed the comfortable and spacious home, and the amenities which included arcade games, a pool, a home theater, themed bedrooms, a grill (extra cost) and more. Our stay was booked via Marriott Villas and managed by Villatel. The stay would have been perfect if not for a few items. The WiFi was inconsistent despite having gigabyte speeds to the home. Access point placement was poor and inadequate. Wired connections to the TVs were fine but WiFi connections would drop frequently and web pages would load slowly. It was often better to use 5G and turn WiFi off on our devices. A technician was sent but by mid week we gave up on expecting improvements. This made things hairy when trying to secure Disney Lightening Lanes the morning of park visits. On our second to last night we returned from a day at Disney to find a leak coming from the HVAC closet. One of the condensation drip pans had overflowed meaning the drainage line was clogged. I will say that once called, Villatel responded quickly and maintenance arrived and addressed the problem but it meant a late night for me as I couldn’t retire until the repair work was complete well into the early morning. The maintenance person was very nice, professional and thorough. All in all we had a wonderful week and I would definitely consider Villatel again but I do suggest improvements to the wireless network at this property. Our party included 4 professionals, 2 from the IT industry so it was frustrating that such a wonderful home had a wireless issue.
