Jul 16,2021My family and I had an amazing time at this house.. Everything was nice, clean and spacious. We had a issue with our refrigerator not cooling the first night however, we called and they came early that next morning and everything started back working.. We will definitely book here again..

Jul 16,2021The house has a great layout and the space is amazing however it needs some general maintenance. Upon check in the pool was green, the movie room was not working and the door knob on the front and pack door were damaged. We placed a request for repairs; the door knobs and movie room were repaired within 24 hours but the pool was not fixed for 3 days

Jul 16,2021Our vacation at Solterra Resort was very unfortunate. We had visited the resort in the past and the home then was absolutely gorgeous and clean. This time, we encountered issues from the moment we arrived. Upon our arrival, we observed garbage spread all over the front lawn and the parking area. There were piles of trash bags on the curb, all over, and cranes picking at it. The house appeared to be ok until the problems started. The first day, one of the dishwashers started leaking water everywhere and the garbage disposal stopped working. The dryer on the first floor wouldn't dry properly, so the drying cycle had to be run two or three times to get the clothes dry. Then, we found that the house was not that clean. There was trash in some bathrooms behind the doors, sticky dirt on the floor by the refrigerators, a couple of roaches under two beds, and one of the bean bags in the children's bedrooms was ripped and spilling foam beans all over. The stickers on one of the kids' rooms were pealing. The bed skirt in our bedroom had unsightly stains. The water dispenser tray in both refrigerators had gelatinous water accumulated, a disgusting sight! My husband immediately called Jeeves, the managing company, and their response was slow and unreliable. After that, we called, the city and the police about the trash health hazard without any success. We took pictures of all the problems we encountered and documented all the calls we made to different places trying to find solutions on our own. We had 25 family guests, and many were inconvenienced by such a frustrating experience. We are avid travelers, and in our experience, we had never encountered a place in such terrible conditions. This resort has a booklet full of regulations for the guests, which we considered necessary for everyone's safety and well-being. However, regardless of the holiday or crowds, they must be enforced, and we observed a total disregard for the most basic and essential during our stay. We sincerely hope that Solterra Resort, the Jeeves Company, and VRBO take the necessary steps to address these issues so that no other family has to experience the disappointment and frustration we did.

Jul 10,2021House was great! Solara complex was great! Plenty of activities for all the kids between video games, theatre, and pool. My only complaint and in my opinion a big one, the cooking supplies were terrible. For a 9 bedroom house the largest pan was a 5 qt Dutch oven. There were plenty of dishes and cups but actual cooking supplies were terrible for that size house. One skillet mini crockpot…list goes on. Other than that great house!

Jul 10,2021We've been doing a staycation for the whole family (about 20 of us) for 2 years in a row now. We were all so looking forward to this stay this time as we also celebrated our Mom's 84th birthday in this home. We managed to make the most of our stay here and had an awesome time with the family. But there are several issues/things in the house that needs immediate attention before renting it out again to the next family. Our men enjoys hanging out and playing cards by the pool area, unfortunately both ceiling fan lights did not work from day 1 and never actually got resolved. We added pool heat but did not work for the first 3 days. for a family of 20, a functioning 2 dishwasher is a plus but only 1 works. Several of the shelves in the freezer for both refrigerators are missing. The 2 dryers need to be run 2-3 times before anything gets dry. Several of the bedroom and bathroom doors do not lock. Quite embarrasing especially if you have to walk in someone who is in the shower. A minor thing, the driving game in arcade room do not work, basketball ball in pool need backboard, one of the reclining chair in theater room need to be change or fixed (will recline but can"t be put back) Advised maintenance person who came to look at dishwasher but said someone else will take care of it. Hope that all these issues will be addressed and resolve for the next family who will stay here.

Jul 10,2021This was a fantastic vacation home. We had room for everyone and I loved that the small kids had a place to play and the older kids (adults) had a place to play. The space was large enough for us all to hang out together but plenty of activities for everyone. The only things that needed attention was the theater room had a problem with the A/C. There was not enough band width to play movies (even with everyone disconnecting from WiFi). The temperature in the home was too warm at night (72 was the lowest and that was way to warm for adults and the babies). The only other thing was that we needed more refrigerator space. We are also meals in and one fridge was difficult. But other than that….fantastic!!!!!

Jul 02,2021We stayed in a Solara Resort property with a Star Wars bedroom. The house was very spacious and we loved the bathrooms. The layout worked great because our parents got the main floor room and then each of our families almost had a pod of rooms. We actually ended up having too many bedrooms but it was great space. The beds are VERY comfortable. We loved the movie room and there was plenty of table space for our large group to eat together. Little touches like the large scrabble board and bathroom close to the pool were helpful and fun. We loved the ability to have the clubhouse and splash pad for kids as an extra thing to do. It definitely made it feel like a vacation. Shopping was nearby. We were supposed to have a lot of extra electronic games included (geared towards older individuals) but several of the systems were out of order during our stay. That was disappointing for the teens that we had in our group as we were actually looking forward to those. Also we couldn’t quite figure out how to do the karaoke machine with the tv upstairs. We ended up using my nieces iPad for songs. We wish there had been better cooking supplies for a house of that size. There were things included but they were small to cook for a large family. possibly a better description of the grill would have been helpful (we had a smaller one and it was a bit small for grilling for our families). We planned to use a grill a lot but when we used it once and realized the size we stuck with oven cooking. The ice maker was broken in the unit before we even arrived and there was a blind missing in the kids rooms to block out daylight. None of those things were fixed prior to our arrival, so we had to hang a sheet in the window and get ice daily (a cost and time we weren’t planning on). The basketball hoop worked great at the pool but with the first toss of a basket we discovered that the backboard was broken and no one had fixed it. It was just set in the hoop. We hope maintenance does a quick glance at the property before new families come to check in, so that new families don’t get charged for things that previous families may have damaged. The trash situation is a bit unique as they give you a box to put bags in outside but everyone just lays their garbage bags on the front lawn? Other than that we were happy and highly recommend these properties.

Jun 25,2021Missing amenities (kitchen essentials and bathroom essentials) When we called to fix the issues, the people were very unhelpful. Late check in. (Arrived one hour early and couldn't enter. Came back at check in time and couldn't enter until 50 minutes after) Movie theater was not functioning.

Jun 18,2021The place was everything and more than I expected. Beautiful home that has all kinds of entertainment for all age group. The decorations thru out the house was magnificent. Kitchen has all the supplies you can need. Also, nice outdoor seating and swimming pool. The place was just perfect for our large group of 24, accommodating all our needs and also providing enough space for everyone. We were all very happy with everything. Will definitely go back again!

Jun 10,2021The house was perfect. We had an issue with a very loud and vulgar house party on our second night. Security was not helpful. Additionally, staff at the restaurant and bar at the clubhouse were not friendly even though they were not busy at all. The staff at the Flowrider were amazing. They did a great job with our party.

Jul 21,2021The home was clean and beautiful upon arrival. However, as our vacation went along we had many issues with plumbing and air. Some rooms were too cold, while some rooms were too warm. We had plumbing issues in almost all the rooms. The staff did come and try to help every time we called but nothing really fixed the issues. Overall our stay was pleasant. However, we would've given a 5 star rating if we didn't have the ongoing air and plumbing issues.
